Thinking about throwing away my dragon dice (1 Viewer)

This is the most bizarre 20-sided die I ever seen! Most modern 20-sideds are numbered with the numbers 1-20, as you'd expect. This one has the digits 0-9 only, twice each! Neat! Mr. Pickles has fortunately gone over one of the sets of numbers with a black pen and the other with a red pen to make it a true d20. But I've never seen this before. These truly belong in the nerd museum, if there were such a magnificent structure.
I understand you're excited and deserve some leeway for it being the wee hours but... :sadbanana:

I can't wait to see these. As if 4e Monday nights weren't awesome enough already.
If you're lucky, I may even let you roll them once or twice.Hey, you've got a kid. Bring me one of his crayons and you'll have dice privileges.

I am pleased to announce that these arrived today. They're so wonderfully disgusting. I am 100% confident that these are authentic "old" D&D dice, since no modern die-making company would craft something so beautifully primitive.I have before me a rainbow of dice. A multi-coloured set! Unheard of today! I feel like cross between Plato and the Lucky Charms leprechaun. Red tetrahedron, orange icosahedron, yellow cube, blue octahedron, purple dodecahedron and grey whatever-the-hell-the-ten-sided-one-is-called. The remnants of old ink marks to make the numbers stand out still exist... a true connoisseur would have used crayon, but we'll let that slide. There are no sparkles or fancy runes or swirling multicoloured resin. This is monochrome plastic of the most basic kind. How deliciously nostalgic. Now I can only hope they roll well. I look forward to using them at my next session. But now I also need a new crayon.I also found out that Mr. Pickles isn't from where I thought he was from.
The internet? If you use crayon, you should try rolling the dice at least a couple hundred times to make sure you get an even distribution. The weight of the wax may be greater on an 8 than a 1.

Had the first field test for these dice tonight.

Spot Check: rolled a 16 on the d20. Not bad, but the situation wasn't a critical one.

Initiative: rolled a 4 on the d20. Went last in the turn order.

Attack: rolled a 5 on the d20 for my longbow attack. Badly missed the target.

Sadly, those were the only rolls I got to make all session. (3rd edition is short on action and long on roleplay.) Pretty bad start for the PickleDice. I hope they show more jump next week.

And yes, that is several. When I saw this thread, I pulled my dice box out of the closet where it's sat for years. I didn't snap a picture, as I'm easily distracted. However, I just did, so ... Here is the box. Included in the box are a very worn 30-sided die and 4 glow in the dark 10 siders.
Second section up with mostly 6 siders. Forth from right(green, blue, clear, white) The white six sider is showing an '8'. Please explain.

Yep. There is also the die from Nuclear War(green with an nuke explosion on it), but Idon't remember where the skull die came from

The skull die was a generic Death Dice. They just looked cool with the skull on them if you were ever rolling a 6 sided for initiative, it let you know you were dead...

I remember I had a dice bowling game when I was a kid. Oh and a dice baseball game too.

Anyhow, given my avi I somehow felt compelled to post in this thread.

Enjoy your dice Smoo!

Yep.
OK. Never got into backgammon. I was starting to get worried I forgot something about D&D.
