This weekend will be the last time the NL is relevant this year (1 Viewer)

Good races going into the weekend...

Cubs want to give it away but Milwaukee just won't take it.

I think a collapse is iminent for the Mets, Phillies get in.

Wildcard to Padres or Rockies. Love the way the Rockies are playing but all of a sudden SD showing a little fire.

Good weekend of NL baseball, we won't be saying much more of that.

Any team can get hot and win in October. Look at all of the wild card teams that have won the World Series since the wild card spot was created.

The Padres and the Cubs have the pitching to knock off any American League squad in a 7 game series. I'm not sold on the Mets, but if their pitchers are hot, they can get it done as well. The World Series/Playoffs always seems to come down to hot starting pitchers dominating at just the right time.

Over 162 game season the NL teams cant hang with any of the 4 AL playoff teams. But in a 7 game series nothing would surprise me at all. The AL teams all have flaws.

I think the NL playoffs will be great. There are not any dominant teams, so they should be very exciting series. I just wish my team was involved.

The Cubs don't have the pitching... Zambrano has been completely unreliable all season, Lilly has been their ace, Hill was been way too inconsistent, and Marquis sucks. Marmol is filthy, but he'll only give you 2 innings a game.

Looks like the roiginal post wasn't off the mark at all and was actually quite prophetic.NL playoffs sucked. Rockies did not show up in World Series.NL needs to improve their product.
It's almost as good as your "prophetic" call that this Red Sox team had no heart and was done before game 5 of the LCS.gj
