Joe--your comment about old dogs learning new tricks and Faulk scoring on a direct snap:

Did you watch the Pats-Panthers SB? Have you watched Pats games at all in the last 7 years? To think that this is the first time they ran that play, and that they 'learned' it from the Dolphins is just showing either (more) blind hatred or ignorance.

BTW--I really enjoy the column, keep it coming.

Whiny Tools!! Oh I get it!! LOL!! Oh, thats a good one!! Oh, you so funny!!! Especially from a Bengals' fan!!

Grrrr...Wait a minute? Someone actually reads those Random Shots articles? Now that's funny!

JOE, JUST IGNORE THE WHINING!!

The Random Shots is just HYSTERICAL, and usually written in a sleep-deprived condition, which makes it even funnier!

The overwhelming numbers-crunching of TBG needs some subjective opinions and levity on a regular basis, so keep it up!

Maybe, just maybe... some of Patriots nation should develop a slightly thicker skin. :goodposting:

:lmao:One of my favorite articles each week.Even with the blind Patriots hatred. :lmao:
I look forward to Random Shots every week.... :no:BUT, It pains me to admit it...I am a Lions fan. Is there where I start whining about the "Lions Hate"??Joe said something about "how bad to you have to be to get benched for Dan Ovrlosky?" Did you even WATCH the game Joe?? Kitna was hurt, he didn't get benched. :sarcasm: NOBODY but diehard Lions fans watched that debacle.

HATER!!!!

Random Shots is great, but you forgot one "Hard Luck" award to the Chargers

1-10-MIA 10 (1:47) 43-D.Sproles up the middle to MIA 7 for 3 yards (51-A.Ayodele).

2-7-MIA 7 (1:03) 43-D.Sproles left guard to MIA 6 for 1 yard (51-A.Ayodele, 95-J.Ferguson).

3-6-MIA 6 (:17) (Shotgun) 17-P.Rivers pass short middle to 89-C.Chambers to MIA 1 for 5 yards (24-R.Hill, 52-C.Crowder).

END QUARTER 3

4-1-MIA 1 (15:00) 21-L.Tomlinson left guard to MIA 1 for no gain (91-V.Holliday; 52-C.Crowder).

Miami Dolphins at 14:55

That was to tie the game and that was pretty much it for the Chargers.

Swamp

It's not the Pats I hate..... it's mostly the Pats fans, and a touch of Belichick thrown in for good measure.

You're correct Jag. The Pats have been running this formation for a while now.The Fins just showed them how to run it well.

I don't understand how that comment can make you as upset as you appear. Let's assume that it's fresh on his mind (the plays Miami did to New England) and he happened to forget or didn't think back far enough to where New England used that play before......so what.Even if New England did "learn" the play from the Dolphins, is it really that disgusting? I think by using strong words like blind hatred and ignorance are way to harsh.I think it's safe to assume that Joe (never met him before in my life) watched a Patriot's game in the last 7 years.....that's probably the silliest question I've read in the last 7 years on here. It's also hilarious that you accuse him of blind hatred or simply of just being ignorant about the most succesful team in the last 10 years and then say you enjoy the column.Years ago I once got into a car accident with my Dad's car and did a lot of damage to it and as we sat there looking at the smashed up car of his, I thought I'd say something nice about the car after I smashed up his car so I said, "Well, it was a really nice car." If looks could kill.....So my suggestion to you is if you're going to call a guy out on a public forum, do it right. Don't try and duck and hide right at the end.
