Noticed that he is pretty high in the FBG dynasty rankings (31 overall) and was wondering what people think of this ranking for dynasty, and what will happen with him demanding a trade or (I would assume) more money. Since everyone knows he won't get more money out of the Bears, do people see him as a 1st or second string RB (Lovie don't lovie committees) this year, and if he does get traded, what will his role be. Basically, is last year an aberration, or a sign of more to come?

Entirely situational. If he stays with the Bears it all depends how well Benson does or doesn't perform. If Benson stinks it up or gets hurt...T.Jones value is pretty high and I would expect his production to be similar to last year (depending how early Benson either gets hurt or is deemed ineffective). On the flip side, if Benson takes his opportunity and runs with it (literally), then Jones is only worthwhile as a 3rd down back or insurance on Benson.

If he forces a trade (which won't happen) it entirely depends where he ends up. With this whole Domanack Davis knee thing draggin on in Houston....that could be a potentially interesting situation to watch...they will really need a RB and T.Jones can run, catch, and most importantly for oft-sacked Carr...he can block.

Not really sure about the situation right now. I do know that lovie is pretty intolerant of the type of bs he's doing right now. Hard to read. You think Benson has a good shot of coming out of the gate strong?

I think you're right that Lovie is pretty disgusted with TJ. I think the only reason he hasn't been even more condemning of the situation is that Benson is still an unproven entity...they don't know if he's gonna live up to his paycheck - they'd love him to, they want him to, but they've been burned by highly drafted RB's in the past (Ennis, Salaam). That's why I think if Benson come on strong from the get go, TJ is screwed...because Lovie is disgusted and, I think, would love nothing more than for Benson to get the 1700 yds he's claiming. If he shows he can do that then TJ is but a distant memory. But, I think Lovie doesn't want to burn all the bridges with TJ if Benson ends up a big bust, because he's going to have to rely on TJ to carry the load again. My thoughts...I hate Benson, I think he's a punk for holding out last year and I'm just really not sure about his attitude. But, I love the Bear and it wouldn't kill me to see a 1700 yd rusher...but I'll never buy a Benson jersey. I think it's possible that he has a strong showing early. Key for him is if the passing game is really going to be any better and take some heat off the RB's.

ha, doubt it. We did nothing to improve other than signing Greise, the first decent QB they've brought in for a looooong time. Still, other than Mush who is aging we got no one, unless Bradley pulls a miracle season, and by Bears WR2 standards that's about 750 and 5. I think Benson has been showing good attitude this offseason and that most of that #### was him not knowing how to handle his agent. I think you're pretty dead on other than that. The Bears should be scared of just going with one of their first round picks who hasn't done anything yet, given history, and they will need to run the ball a lot. Frankly, I know lovie doesn't go RBBC but I think circumstances will basically give each a split season.
