Don't really know why, but thought this was interesting.

Indy stands out as well - overall I think it makes their wins appear less impressive, but they are always finding ways to win the close games - how long will that last?

Seattle also was a surprise. A 6-3 team that hasn't even scored as much as it has given up.

It means the Cowboys win Sunday.
I was just looking at this numbers today, too. What's really impressive about the Bears is that they're outscoring opponents by a more than 2-1 to margin for the season.

Only four teams have done that for an entire season since the 1985 Bears -- and every one of them won the Super Bowl.

Do you know who they were? Answer hidden below:

91 Redskins

96 Packers

99 Rams

00 Ravens

The '00 Ravens is a surprising answer to me.

That team was known for its great defense and scoring just enough on offense to win.

I never would have guessed they outscored their opponents 2-1.

The Ravens barely did it, and they had to set the all-time record for fewest points allowed. Although people don't realize they finished 14th in the NFL in scoring that season, since the 5 games they went without a touchdown got so much attention.

Once Dilfer became the starter, they lost his first start, then won the last 7 of the regular season by an average score of 27-9.

I think Indy's problem is that their defense is just so awful. I think Manning can pretty much score at will and has proven so with some clutch 4th qtr performances.

The Bears were on pace to destroy the St. Louis Rams record for point differential. Their turnovers by Hester and Grossman are neutralizing that chase.

Kinda on but off topic.

#1 team in my league is 8-2 with most points for and least points against.

1 team is tied for 1st in his division at 6-4 with the LEAST points for & 3rd least points against.

Don't ask, thought i would throw that in the mix
