To me it is an RBBC situation very similar to Miami with Brown and R. Williams. In both cases there is (guessing) a 60/40 split with the "60" guy (DWill/Brown) getting a higher proportion of carries between the 20s yet seemingly both Stewart and Ricky seem to get a slightly higher proportion near the goal line.
Do you mean that Stewart is getting a slightly higher proportion of carries relative to his "outside the 20s" # of carries?Because if you believe that Stewart gets more carries than D Williams inside the 20, you are wrong.
D. Williams has received 64% of the carries outside the opposition's 20 this year (35 carries), while Stewart has received 33% (18 carries).
Inside the 20, those percentages change to 55% for Williams, and 45% for Stewart (6 carries for Williams, 5 for Stewart). Stewart does receive a slightly higher percentage (compared to his outside the 20 carries), but he DOES NOT receive a higher percentage than Williams.
What's more, if you include receptions, the percentages change even more.
Outside the 20, Williams receives 60% of RB touches (35 carries + 6 receptions on 7 targets), and Stewart receives 37% (18 carries plus 7 receptions on 8 targets).
Inside the 20, Williams receives 64% of the touches (9 carries + 5 receptions on 6 targets), while Stewart receives 36% of the touches (5 carries and 0 receptions on 0 targets).
With regards to TOUCHES, Stewart's percentage goes down inside the 20, while Williams' percentage goes up.
