Thoughts on Ware (1 Viewer)

I grabbed him a little early with the thought that he might replicate some of what Merriman has done. 7 pt sack, 2 tackle, 1 assist........ I typically grab solid MLB's and have Sims, Pozluszny, and DJ, along with Merriman, but was hopeful Ware would turn the corner this year. Thoughts on this as Dallas' D doesn't look as stout as I thought.............

Ware had seven games just like this one over the past two seasons. It looks like he may struggle to reach the bar everyone reset for him this year (Merriman) with the issues along the front seven, but those numbers were crazy anyway.

If not for his three sack week against Detroit in the final week of the 2006 regular season, Ware wouldn't have reached double digit sacks last year. Ware will be fine and still has an excellent shot at a great year, but this is what you get with a 3-4 OLB.

Poz is a solid? a rook and all the rook risks come with it in my opinion... Ware is a nice home run guy.... when he's hot, he'll get his sacks, otherwise, teams are going to run from him...

when ellis comes back (if) he'll be a beast. Till then he'll just ride the bench for me versus good OLs.

Ware didn't get huge points but he looked extremely quick off the snap and seemed to just miss on several big plays while rushing the Qb. He's a boom/bust type of player, but if you pair him with some solid tacklers in your lineup, I think he's a very nice play.
