Hey guys, Homer J here.

I just found out an hour ago that my cousin's 4 your old daughter was diagnosed with cancer.  She went in for a standard physical/check-up on Wednesday, was taken to Akron Children's hospital on Thursday and started chemo this morning. Stage 4 neuroblastoma that has spread to her lymph nodes.

Her dad has been one of my best friends for decades and I've known his wife since kindergarten.  This one's a gut punch.

Anyway if you're able to kick a few bucks for the effort, a friend of ours set up a GoFundMe to help with the massive expenses to come. If you're the praying type, those won't hurt either.

Thanks.

Sorry to hear to about your cousin's daughter

I was going to make a joke about this not being what I expected from a HJS-posted GoFundMe for a child.

but let's save it until Nora has beat this BS.     :boxing:

Worth noting that Cincinnati Children's (just a few hours down the road) is one of the best pediatric cancer hospitals in the country in case they need or want a consult.  Also, if they end up getting referred to MD Anderson in Texas for proton therapy or to Texas Children's Hospital for any further treatment, please let us know and our Foundation may be able to assist with housing (we've hosted two families from Ohio in the past).  Will be praying for little Nora and her family.
