How ironic is it that Drummer is the biggest troll in this thread?

No original content. Ever.

He is good at blowing Otis every chance he gets though. So there is that.

The fact that Tiger has melted down on the weekends over the last two years isn't even debatable.

The mental game shtick has been played out over the first ten pages of this thread. Of course, what better way to show you're above it all by posting even more useless shtick.

This thread is what it is. Once Otis posted in it, it went to ####.

Lol

You're among the worst in this thread. You're like Otis' little ankle biter. I normally ignore you but watching you call other people trolls is annoying when you basically add nothing of any substance. Ever. It's not just this thread though. You troll the entire forum.

Nice drive into the trees followed up w. He can't hit a fairway and is still within 6 of the lead afterith a seemingly simple shot he shanks into the water.
Based on your posts in this thread, I can't take anything you say about golf seriously. Tiger has always had times in his career when he has struggled with driving, and this week he is playing horribly. He is still 6 off the lead after playing brutal all week. He will figure it out...he always does. At least let him play half a year before writing him off.
Based on my posts? Seriously? The guy looks terrible today. He keeps bailing himself out. He looks defeated out there.
Yeah, seriously. You are arguing that he is done based on the fact that he hasn't performed at a god-like level for the last couple of months..although he did win Bay Hill and always finishes in top ten. You said he was done being dominant...which shows a total lack of perspective and acumen about the game of golf generally and Tiger's game specifically. He has struggled lately...no doubt. Your thread is ridiculous though.
~bump~

He won the US Open last year and just won the Memorial which I would rather win than the PGA. Only someone that is as clueless as you are would shrug off winning Jack's Tournament and Arnie's Tournament in the same year.
They're not majors. Does anyone care who wins the non-slam events in tennis? Of course not. Golf is popular in this country and the demographic that watches it has disposable income. That' why there seems to be a golf tournament on every weekend. But make no mistake about it, it's teh majors that matter. Before Mickelson was finally able to win a major, I didn't hear his apologists listing all the non-majors he won. It didn't matter. Let's not start suddenly exagerate the importance of "Jack's Tournament" or "Tiger's Tournament" for the sole purpose nof pretending that Tiger is still doing well. You must look at the majors. They call them that for a reason.
Hard to believe this was four years ago. It's like nothing's changed.

Yes, you are still utterly clueless and watch too much ESPN programming aimed towards college kids laying around stoned and hungover with nothing better to do.
I know. Because you don't think I golf as well as you, right? That's hilarious.

Please tell us how Tiger is maturing at the microphone and really kicking butt now handling questions. You sound like you have a schoolgirl crush. It's sickening.

By the way, I was right four years ago, and am still right today. Until he can stop choking on the weekends of the majors, he's not even close to being back to what he was before this thread was started. As much as that frustrates you and your ilk.

Lol. Why does what eat at me? I'm loving this. Been loving it for four years. What's sickening is Apple Jack's man crush on Tiger. He's even talking about how awesome he is at press conferences now. Maybe sickening was the wrong word. Laughable. Yeah, laughable.

Good thing you score this in crayon!

This place hasn't changed a bit. I feel like I just hopped out of the Delorian with Doc Brown (decent alias right there).

Do the Tiger bashers realize that Tiger doesn't play a full schedule? That he plays fewer tournaments than pretty much every other top player?

Correct...you still have no clue about golf.

Hey buddy. We all swing and miss sometimes. It's all good.
Oat this thread dates back to when you were dating 7th day Adventists and looking for advice on where to hang your mirror. He just won his first tourney. I saw his fall from grace coming before his wife did. The old saying rings true. Toss enough #### at the wall and some of its bound to stick. HOF Thread - First ballot.

Funny how you Sunday morning golf dorks are still swinging from this guys Johnson. He hasn't done anything in half a decade for Christ's sake and I'm the idiot? Who's trolling who here???

I know you've been out of the scene for a while, but you might want to blow the dust off the power strip and turn on the TV. Turns out he's playing golf again these days.

Well Oat, it turns out he's been playing golf for years now and he just managed to rub his first tournament out. I POSTED THIS THREAD AND HIS WHOLE DANG LIFE FELL APART. Took him 4+ years to win a tournament. Did Federer ever go on a 4 year draught? How bout Kerelin? Petty? Spitz? Sabonis? Navratilova?

Fin> do you still think Tiger is "done"?

What are you a friggin lawyer or something? This is like debating with myself in the real world. I look at it like this. When you're as dominant as Tiger once was and you manage to peel off a couple small time tourneys every 4-5 years, yeah, that's done. I mean the Bridgestone? Really? That's HIS COURSE. I don't think I ever intended this thread to be about a debate on whether or not Tiger could cobble together another win or two. It was about finishing his career on top. Taking out the Bear. Putting the discussion to rest. Has he done that since I posted this thread? I mean it's not that far fetched that this little tournament he won may ignite his fire but he's 5 years older now, he's got a fake patella, hips like A-Rod and a splayed rotator cuff. I think it's safe to say the fist pumping, 80 foot putt dropping, being within a few strokes on day 4 and scaring everyone off the course days are well behind him. That guy is gone. Even the media knows it. They try to pose this question every time he's on the course for ratings. "Tiger in the hunt?" Dying for the glory days of the late 90's...but the result has always been the same. Don't think I can say it any clearer than that. I don't remember laying a bet down that he'd never win a match again. We're we honestly ever discussing that, oat? I just called it like I saw it....

Then bet me $1,000 that he won't win another major. Surely a guy who is "done" cannot pull off such a feat.A mutually agreed upon party can hold the funds via PayPal. LMK.
I don't have sand in my head, chief. I know how to gamble and this isn't how to do it.Scraping together a major here or there in comparison, is done. You seem to be taking this personally. Relax, guy.
How does that equal done when there are 100s of PGA players to never sniff a top 10 let alone win a major?
I meant done dominating. He's not going to lose his card or anything :coffee:
From page one - been my stance all along, Bozo.

:coffee:

A lot of people crabwalking in here. I guess I need to clarify a bit. When we make the statement "______ is done" What do we mean? Usually its a statement made about a person or team dominating. When I say Tiger is done I don't mean he's done....he'll never win another match. I mean his is coming off his plateau. He will no longer dominate like he has. People say the Patriots are done, the Yankees are done, Cuba Gooding Jr is done. Does that mean that the Pats might not squeeze out another Championship? Cuba Gooding Jr, considered done by many managed to do some decent work in Radio. Lets not lose perspective here.
Really summed it all up back in 09. Why are people confused? Just can't let go. It's sad, really.
