I don't know how my draft will start, I assume LJ,SA,LT with first three. Assuming one of the three above is gone (#4 is open for trade offers).

1qb

2rb

3wr

1te

1def

1k

15 man roster

Standard rules apply, 1 point per reception, etc. No bonus for 300+ yard games.

My thanks

if you consider manning here, you might as well wave the white flag.

whoever is left of portis\barber is the answer

My Thanks, I agree and just wanted to take a poll. I am hoping Tiki is there, but I have a feeling it's Portis, which I would be fine with as well. There are a couple die hard Peyton fans in my group that choose later, hopefully they will trade up.

I prefer Portis to Barber, even in PPR leagues. Saunders has a ridiculous history of RB success (as well as of throwing to the RB), and Portis has good hands. Mostly, though, it's an age/injury/carries thing. Barber's older, has more wear-and-tear, and is more likely (in my opinion) to get injured. He'll also be losing goal-line touches to Jacobs. He's still my #5 RB, but I do have Portis ahead of him by a whisker, even in PPR. Not that I'd be upset if Barber was what was left.

Barber over Portis.

Manning over both.
echoing others : Barber over Portis (only in ppr) both over peyton --- qb in the 1st round works out some times but not worth the hit it causes in other positions...

IMO Manning is so far ahead of the competition at QB that I would consider putting him in the top 3.

Rackers is so far above the other kickers --- I'm taking him in the 5th..... jk

That doesn't make me wrong.
I would agree if Palmer wasn't starting week 1. But because he is, and because he's going in the fourth round, I have to disagree.I think you could warrant both as early 2nd rounders, but I don't think you can take Manning in the first round because Palmer is right there with him.

I could be wrong but I don't think LT ever finished as the top RB yet he is always in the top 3 players picked and usally 1 or 2.Tiki is 32? Go with Portis

you're right...he has been a consistant 3rd.

Look at the overall ranks, too. Manning's only twice been in the overall top-12 (and since we're comparing players across positions, the overall rank is a better measure). Tomlinson's never been OUTSIDE the overall top-12.
