Time to bring what players off your FF bench and start? (1 Viewer)

There were players you drafted late or picked up of the WW, who are performing better than your trusted normal starters. After 2 weeks, it's time to start giving some of these guys a shot. 2 players that come to mind are Pennington and Grossman. They haven't gone against premier defenses yet, but I've seen enough of them to think that the 1st two weeks may not be flukes. Same goes for Stallworth.

At what point in the early season do you have so say, I'm going to go with the hot hand and bench more established players? And who are FF bench players who you think should be getting the nod to start FF games, at least until they start playing badly, or your other studs start to get back on track?

i benched randy moss for stallworth this past week. i should have made my other move too of benching santana moss for coles. both weeks my backups have crushed my starters.

I think I may give Alex Smith the nod over Plummer in one league, and Pennington over Plummer in another.

I crossed my fingers and started Colston over Moss on Sunday. Looks like that might be the plan until Randy shows a pulse.

On different teams:

Colston and Crotchery for Nate Burleson and Lamont Jordan.

Deuce Mcallister for Wali Lundy.

I'd love to bench Eddie Kennsion on another team but I can't find anything to trot out there.

I am finally going to bench Plummer for Vick.
I think I will give Santana Moss another week before benching him for J Cotchery... I also have Roy Williams but I know he will pick it up since at least Kitna has a arm....... I also have Colston as oe of my backups so I have options...

Even with a pedestrian week this week, Ahman Green gets the nod over a dropping D. Foster for now. DeAngelo Williams may have something to say about that in a few weeks. We have to see how that situation plays itself out.

Considering Williamson and Cotchery over R. Smith and D. Mason

Our league awards 1 pt for every 20 return yards, which is a nice addition to Williamson's receiving yards.

Good question. I'd say it's not too early. I'm sitting Rod Smith for Braylon Edwards until Plummer gets his head out of his ####.

You can't say "####"? OK, how about I'm sitting Rod Smith until Plummer gets his head disconnected from his sphincter muscle...
