Tim's FFL Year 4- Out of the playoffs again. This league sucks. (1 Viewer)

So we're only owed 3 part payments. Starting next week, we can start (once we have the order down.) I propose official clock starts next Wednesday.

 
The rules have been posted? We still don't have rules for draft order, the draft itself, waiver and FA process, playoff tie-breakers, schedule structure and playoff structure. So far we have scoring rules and payouts.

1. Jmon is handling draft order.

2. The draft will start next Wednesday, 7-4 pm PST, 1 hour per pick. We may shorten it later, depending. Weekdays only, 16 rounds.

3. Waivers 2 days, then rollover.

4. Playoff tie breakers? Whatever the standard is I don't care. If someone has an issue let me know.

5. I assume Yahoo will randomly designate divisions.

6. 6 team playoff. Top 2 teams have byes.

I will be sending out invites to the league just as soon as everyone has paid- right now I don't have every email address.

*NEW RULE*

Starting on Monday morning there will be a one hour clock to pick your draft position. If the timer expires you will be assigned the next highest draft choice. We will use the same clock Tim has set, so 10am EST - 7pm EST

You can PM me preference now if you would like, stating something like "Give me the highest pick available" or "Give me the lowest pick available"

Preseason starts tonight with 6 games!

I'll be out of town Wednesday through Sunday. I'll probably need calls or texts when I'm up or almost up, but with that there should be no problems.

 
In a baseball draft i was in this year, we not only did a Google doc of the draft, we also had a top 300 list from somewhere and we'd strike out the names as they were drafted. Some people #####ed because it help cover people who were to busy to do lots of goggles and stuff in the middle of the work day, but the draft went MUCH faster. I recommend we do that with the FBG rankings for our league this year. Its not like it's proprietary info anyway. And weren't we going to autocpick for someone when the timer expired already?

How are you sending, PM or Yahoo account? I still need to go create a new Yahoo account, my last one died from cootie complications.

I think I just send by email- I was going to send them to the emails I received from the Paypal payments. Not sure how to do a double invite, though.

The owner of the team should be able to add an email address once he sets his team up.
