Sounds made up.
Are you objecting? This is the way we've always done it. But those were "fun" drafts, not for money like this one. Does anyone object to this?
SO what about the rule you made saying skipped folks were assigned the highest rated player?

He might have allowed the skip, knowing he would get that.

####### tim aka the commish picks before me too. Spends all ####### day long in every single thread on the front page arguing, debating and posting more than anyone's posted on any message board ever, but can't shoot a 2 word message that it's my pick in your "league" you're running here. I'm pretty ####### sawed off.

I thought we were supposed to start the draft on yahoo tonight, or is someone gonna manually put the players in.

I wasn't around when you were skipped the first time. I don't know if anyone pm'ed you or not. If they didn't I'm sorry about that. It's common courtesy to pm the next person but not required. A full hour went by before you were skipped. I did authorize you to be skipped the second time, because I think that's appropriate. I'm sorry you're upset about that.

You're 30 picks too late.
He went 30 picks early?Okay. Let me cipher a little bit.

Is there a full list of picks somewhere. I'm on a phone and its hard.
See if this quick and dirty Google Doc link works.Anyone should be able to edit it.

ETA: Was a little too quick and dirty. Now it's complete.
Groovy, thanks.

I can edit it, but if others keep it up to date, it will hasten my picks.

We should also keep the fbg 300 in a Google doc. Save us all having to go over there every pick to see what others are thinking.

Ya I have a big objection.

It's an hour clock.

It's a 100 dollar league

Especially when you're making a rule on the fly without even shooting me a note - a common courtesy that I was not only skipped once, but about to be a 2nd time. Absolutely unacceptable. This isn't the draft of your favorite Irish One Armed Boxers. It's a 100 dollar fantasy football league.

The 2nd skip caused me to lose the player I wanted.

This is absolute bull####

Again, I'm sorry you're upset. I think that if you're skipped once, we shouldn't have to wait around for you a second time. That's the way I've always done it, and I think it's fair.

In any case, I can't change things now. If you wish, I can return your money to you and let somebody else take over your team (I will if nobody else does.) That's all I can offer if you're really that upset about it.

If anyone following along wants my team, It's already paid for. Go ahead and send me a PM. I'll delete my team from yahoo and ask tim to send you an invite.

If you end up winning, throwing me back my buy in would be cool, if not. Enjoy the free team. The reason I stopped doing fantasy 5 years ago was due to a commish who just made up rules as he went.

It's an hour clock man.

And I'm at the end of a round. Meaning, if I'm out for 5 hours. I might get skipped twice without even a chance to blink. If I'm getting skipped once, and ebok is here, I'm getting skipped twice - it's automatic with your line of thinking. Can you not see how that's a little unfair?

I wouldn't care, if the exact guy I wanted (Sammy Watkins) wasn't taken due to the 2nd skip. But he was.

And all without even a PM while you're all over the rest of the board having loquacious drawn out arguments about Hillary Clinton - just to rub salt in the wound.

Dude, you didn't check in to the thread in almost 24 hours... what did you THINK was going to happen? These board drafts move quickly. Yes, it would have been nice if someone PM'd you (I just assumed someone did as it's generally the "role" of the person who picks before you if you're absent)..... however you kinda have to accept SOME responsibility here for going AWOL from a fast moving draft for 21 hours....

Was the player you wanted Travis Kelce?
It was Sammy Watkins.
OK. Well there's nothing I can do about it then. If it had been Kelce, I would have offered you a trade for Bryant.

I feel bad about this, I really do. I think your point about being toward the end of the order is a good one which I didn't consider. So I apologize. If I you want I can give you your money back, but otherwise I don't know how to fix it.

I'll eat the first skipped pick. That's completely my fault.

But I'd have been here in time for the 2nd pick before Ref picked if not for the fugazi rule that I get skipped a 2nd time because I missed the first one. I haven't been AWOL for a week. It hasn't even been 24 hours...I checked the thread around lunch time for me. I then got pulled into what ended up being a 7 hour meeting. First pick skip without notification I was up, ok - I'll eat it. 2nd skipped pick without even getting a timer when I'm 15th and 2nd to pick in each round is a complete and utter ####### up the ### thanks to a rule made up on the fly. And again - not a single note from anyone that I'm getting steam rolled passed, from anyone? Really?

I appreciate it but I don't want a refund. I'm not taking my ball and going home, I'm just going home.

Someone shoot me a note and grab the reigns here. I'm out.
