I don't know how anyone watching this Bulls-Bucks series can consider Chicago favored to beat Cleveland even with Love out and JR Smif suspended for two games.
They'll beat the Bulls even w/o Love. Smith will only be gone the first 2 home games. Mozgov and Thompson are still far better than anything Milwaukee offers upfront.Bulls offense is just dreadful. It's been that way most all year. Offense should be built around Butler and Mirotic. Not Rose taking jumper after jumper. At some point Thibs should understand the Noah/Rose high screen and roll doesn't work. Neither guy can shoot and Rose has been hesitant to go to the rack most all year & would rather settle for contested jumpers. I may be in the minority but a Bulls/Thibs may be best for both parties. So tiresome watching Rose/Noah high screen & rolls over and over again. It's failed all year long yet it is still the staple of their offense. Not a fan at all of his offense. Bulls don't lack offensive talent. Let him go pick his next destination. There's no doubting his ability as a defensive mind.

As far as tonight's game, weird Aaron Brooks only saw 5 minutes tonight with Rose throwing up brick after brick & MCW beating him all night long. I can't recall a recent game that Brooks played so few minutes. (Edit: It was the fewest minutes Brooks has played in a game this year). I'm not sure why he's suddenly not playing at all. He's given them a great change of pace all year.
The last time Brooks played extended minutes vs. the Bucks MCW abused him. Then again, he was abusing Rose also so I guess it couldn't have hurt to go there.

For as much talent as they have, they shouldnt be amongst the worst offensive teams remaining.

Unless James or Irving miss time I'll take the Cavs. Assuming Bulls are able to finish off the Bucks.

Here's the Love story.

Wiggins didn't even make the playoffs though. Cavs win the trade.
No.
Love averaged 16 and 10 with a 51% eFG and helped his team reach the second round of the playoffs. Wiggins averaged 17 and 5 with a 45% eFG and his team only won 16 games. Seems pretty clear to me. Score one for Cleveland.
Don't know if you're being sarcastic or not.

Twolves have a future superstar under contract for peanuts for the next 4 years. If Cleveland can't resign Love, it'll go down as one of the worst trades in NBA history.

i think that if you are kelly oilnyk you probably sit out the next time you play cleveland brohan that guy is marked for death stevean seagull style take that to the bank

Sucks about Love, it was looking like Cleveland was a shoe in for the Finals with the way the Bulls and Hawks looked. They may still make it, but sucks that they lost him for the entire playoffs. I was sort of rooting for them to bring something other than misery to Cleveland. I had to travel a bunch there for work since the Fall and got to see them play at the Q.

2 games for Smith
Doesn't seem enough to me. That was brutal!
Olynyk only got 1 game, so 2 seems like plenty to me.
Smith should have got a lot more given his history; 2 is really a joke.

On December 16, 2006, Smith was involved in the Knicks–Nuggets brawl. The brawl began when Mardy Collins flagrantly fouled Smith on a fast break. Smith was suspended for 10 games

On August 28, 2009, Smith was suspended seven games for the 2009–2010 NBA season because of his guilty plea in the 2007 reckless driving incident. The NBA also cited his poor driving record as grounds for the suspension.

On April 27, 2013, Smith was suspended for Game 4 of the first round of the playoffs after elbowing the Celtics' Jason Terry in the chin.

On September 6, 2013, Smith was suspended five games for violating the NBA's anti-drug program. The suspension was without pay and did not start until he was fit to play after knee surgery

Class act
I'm guessing those are not relevant and not how the NBA suspends players.

The NBA CBA spells out punishment for missed practices and off-court incidents (including firearm issues, violent felonies, misdeameanors, etc...) but on-court misconduct is subject to a commissioner imposed suspension that can be appealed to the independent arbitrator for fairness.

Lots of latitude given to commissioner in this situation, with his objective as: protecting the NBA as a whole from detrimental conduct

It's not like they would give Smith the shortest suspension they felt they could justify because they want to keep LBJ and Kyrie around in the playoffs.

I mean, what would be next? Rescinding a star player's 16th technical just before the playoffs start?

That would never happen!!

still time left so maybe the bucks will blow it but no matter what you can sort of see them getting it together and i think you have to think next year could be good with jabrari back and who knows what they can do with the draft or a trade they are young and coming on bromigos take that to the bank
I think the national media will focus on the Bulls struggling more than the Bucks playing well, but the Bucks defense deserves a lot of credit. It's been fantastic.
Can't wait to hit the Bradley Center on Thursday night. Place is gonna be rockin!

After four and a half games of this series, I can completely understand why some people dislike the Rockets so much. They are an entire team full of really unlikable players. This is the first game I've felt like they get called for a lot of their bs fouls too, like wrapping people up off ball and Howard trying to cheapshot people when nobody's looking.

The playoff Rockets are unwatchable because they are criminally bad at free throws and we end up watching Hack-a-Howard/Smith/Capella, which, while a legitimate strategy is about as fun to watch as a WNBA game. These guys should be ashamed of themselves. It's like a trial lawyer who is really good at winning over a jury, but is consistently unable to find the courthouse.

The Houston Rockets fired on the Dallas Mavs tonight, blasting them away from their launch toward the west conference semi's. 4-1.

if you type in clippers either works bromigo

If any of you west coast whiners ever complain about East Coast bias, just remember that we have to stay up past 1am to watch quality basketball.

This should be a fun game to watch. Instead I feel like I have been watching for 6 hours and am tired of seeing free throws. I hope the refs swallow their whistles in the 4th. This is just stupid.

Lived in San Antonio and am at least sympathetic to the Spurs.

What a remarkable franchise, one of the best in all of sports. Just when you think they're out...
