Tires question (1 Viewer)

Hankook or Uniroyal. Check with national chain tire shops, they may have a house brand tire.

Tirerack is the right answer.

There is a market limited amazon driven competitor to tire rack that is in beta. Not sure what markets they operate in but they are even cheaper while they work out the issues prior to going nationwide

Buy new from Costco, and save the old tires.  When you trade in the car next year put the old tires back on and return the "new" ones back to Costco.  No money spent.

ok - i went to my local non-chain tire shop and asked them what they would do in this instance.

Bridgestone makes a buget line of tire called Fuzion -  multiple techs told me they would work extremely well for what i'm asking for from said tire.

$425 for 4 vs. $750 for 4 with the full Bridgestone name.

Sold.   Wife sold.

Thanks for the help bruhs.

That sounds like a #### move.  Costco has an incredible return policy, but that won't last if people willingly abuse it (like electronics).

Yes, but even I'm not that cheap.

Would rather but a new lesser brand than used major brand.
i second the used set......i think most tire treads come in 16ths of an inch.  i found a used michelin set for 25 a tire with 9/16 tread depth.  plenty good for a year or so based on usage.
