Titans Chargers game thread, London, early (1 Viewer)

Wow. Why not take the point after with your team carrying the momentum going into OT?  If you are going to go for it—you are going to put the entire game on Mariotas ability to throw the ball?  To me that doesn’t show aggression—it shows that the coach doesn’t believe that his team can beat the Chargers if the game continues.

What a terrible call to go for 2. Everybody knows the Chargers will find a way to lose if you let them. Extend the game.

Arians was at his best in the first quarter when he said almost nothing. When he started talking we realized he had nothing to say. As the game went on, he began actively rooting for the Titans. What a mess!
Apparently CBS felt ol’ Trent wasn’t saying enough.

Vrabel should have stepped in when he saw 4 WRs set on the field. I understand having to stand by your OC but that's extreme and I expect someone (the coach) to be like what the are we doing out there?

Vrabel made no sense in post game interview.  (paraphrase) - "If we score with under :40, we are going for 2.  If there is a minute plus left, we kick the PAT, and play defense).

 If you are willing to force overtime with the Chargers having more time, why would you not force overtime with less time?  TN had the momentum most of the second half.  hindsight twenty/twenty, but that was a poor coaching decision.  Even more so, when AFC South is up for grabs.

If he said that, you're right. It sounds ### backwards.

Yep.

I'd have gone ot here. Trust your defense more.

It’s been 30 mins and I still can’t get over how unbelievably dumb that was going for 2.

the Titans we’re behind all game. They had all the momentum. The chargers are notorious chokers.

Take the tie & go to OT.

one of the worst coaching decisions all year.

@ESPNStatsInfo

The Titans have now failed on 7 straight 2-point conversion attempts dating back to the 2015 season, and they passed on all 7 of those attempts. Their last successful 2-point conversion was in Week 14 of 2015, a 30-8 loss at the Jets.
