Titans have offered up their 2nd rounder and a player(mystery) for Boldin and have been granted permission to talk with Boldin's agent. One has to assume that this deal is about done since the Cards are OK with the meat of the trade.
1. I hate Bill Parcells right about now...Miami could have offered a higher 2nd rounder and probably thrown in a 2010 3rd or something. Why is Miami so obtuse when it comes to their WR1 needs. They will never draft a player at WR the caliber of Boldin in all likelihood so why not pony up? Miami said no to COles, never mentioned in the Boldin talks, never interested in any WRs but yet they have a glaring need for some big time help there. Ginn/Camarillo is probably one of the worst starting combos right now in the NFL...find 5-10 worse combos int he league, you can't.
2. Boldin will never sniff 100 catches again in Tennessee. I think he will be a 70-80 catch guy max with KC and VY running the show there. In dyansty you cannot like the outcome of this trade if you own Boldin...just no way.
3. Is Steve Breaston stock thru the roof now? Has to be...time for owners to cash in.

He was a workhorse for Tennessee in 2007 and then played wonderfully in 2008 as a short yardage pounder. He had 15 rushing TDs and took to the role of the hammer to Johnson's speed with ease. White can be an immensely helpful player to the Cards [or another team], and it immeasurably better than Tim Hightower.
We don't know what those messages were, but I think an NFL team with a revenue north of $200 million could find at least a secretary somewhere who could call back the Titans and ask what they might offer.
