Anyone know why Santana was not given a reception for this play? I don't think that it was a backwards lateral (but if it was, would it matter?). Here is the play sequence:

1-10-NYJ42 (4:07) C.Martin up the middle to NYJ 43 for 1 yard (Ta.Williams, K.Carter).

2-9-NYJ43 (3:28) C.Pennington pass to S.Moss ran ob at TEN 18 for 39 yards (K.Bulluck).

1-10-TEN18 (2:54) C.Martin left end pushed ob at TEN 15 for 3 yards (B.Kassell).

2-7-TEN15 (2:36) S.Moss right end to TEN 7 for 8 yards (B.Kassell).

It costs me a reception point. Anyone else see this?
