It's night and day. I can't believe I started Roydell Williams in my fantasy league knowing that Vince Young was going to be the QB today.Never again!Vince Young stinks.Any thoughts on difference between the Titans O with Kerry running it and with Vince running it?
With Collins the WRs have some value, with young..no all the WRs are basically useless.Any thoughts on difference between the Titans O with Kerry running it and with Vince running it?
Is this a reflection of his passing ability/inability? lack of confidence from Fisher/Chow in his arm? There was talk this summer of him airing it out more. With Collins the WRs have some value, with young..no all the WRs are basically useless.Any thoughts on difference between the Titans O with Kerry running it and with Vince running it?
I realize this happens to all QBs, but it seems to happen more often with VY. I'm really not sure if that's because of him or the WRs. He isn't going anywhere, so hopefully we'll find out it's the WRs after we get some quality hands out here.In his defense, his receivers robbed him of three TD passes - although two were on the same drive.
the week Kerry came in plus the week Kerry started, Roydell and Moulds combined for 20 catches. That's just fine(if not good) for starting WRsNo doubt Moulds is an ol timer but he's still got his hands.Roydell, with Kerry, sure looks like an up N comer WR to me.I realize this happens to all QBs, but it seems to happen more often with VY. Replied to OZ similar topic but ...is it chicken or the egg here?If he's not throwing can the WRs develop? Apparently Fisher thinks Vince can/will/is develop if he's not throwing too often. He needs better WRs which was no surprise when the season started.
They'd prefer to run as much as possible. However, re: "chicken or the egg", the WR corps is made up essentially (IIRC) of an old Eric Moulds, two 3rds (Roydell and Jones) and two 4ths (Davis and Gage). Not exactly Moss/Stallworth/Welker or even CJ/TJ/Henry.Replied to OZ similar topic but ...is it chicken or the egg here?If he's not throwing can the WRs develop? Collins had significant playing time in 2 games this year:10/20 vs. TB- 125 Yards, zero TDs25/42 vs. Houston - 280 yards, zero TDsVince was doing better vs. TB, albeit with an INTHe's been injured, and I doubt he's 100%. That said, he's been plain bad the last 3 games, from Atlanta on, he just doesn't seem to be the same QB. Before those 3 games, he was throwing at a 62% rate. I think he'll come around, but he needs to work this out.Bri said:but they did well with KerryColin Dowling said:They'd prefer to run as much as possible. A bit off-topic since this is a Titans O passing thread, but do you think Fisher will continue to run like this the rest of the way? Cuz while this means VY shouldnt even be rostered, it also means that LenDale White is a very good RB2 option going forward.Colin Dowling said:They'd prefer to run as much as possible. Two weeks ago I had to remind an owner of our league rules. That is to start the player that give you the best chance to win. He got offended that I would call him out but that's the way it is. This guy is a vet when it comes to fantasy football yet he had been starting VY with other proven QB's on his bench. It gave me the impression that he was trying to tank the season...........yes tank, this is not acceptable. VY has done nothing to prove that he should be on anyone's starting roster.I can't believe anyone would actually think about starting Vince.
