Titans RB L. White To Practice Next Week (1 Viewer)

(on if team will need two or three players to carry the load at the running back position)

We’re asking everybody to carry the load this year. Obviously we’re going to get back to old school football and run it. That’s our intention, that’s our desire and that’s where the work has been emphasized this off-season. As far as who does it? We have some great options right now. What Chris (Brown) has done and what Travis (Henry) has done over the years and what we think LenDale (White) can do in addition to the other guys that are fighting for spots. We will not have a shortage of running backs by no means.
No surprise there. I'd temper the expectations for Volek. I don't see this team airing it out like in 2004.

i had eddie the years the titans ran the ball down your throats and drafted lendale hoping for the same... let's hope the hammy has healed cuz i believe this guy has the ability and opportunity to have a nice season..

Great to hear. Last I heard he wouldn't be able to practice until July....this is a nice surprise.

Goodness me... if they can get that chubby bowling ball in shape, he could start and be the rookie of the year.

:pickle:

Excellent news. The injury has only helped by suppressing his ADP. Lendale is going to be a monster.
I tend to agree. Hoping to get him at #4 in 2 drafts...:crossing fingers:

does the recent rumblings of C.Brown being traded and Lendale comin back from injury a bit earlier move him up to the #2 rookie RB (even #1 in redrafts)??

not until C.Brown is actually traded does it bolster Lendale up that much. I personally see Chow doing with Brown/White what he did with Bush/White at USC.If C.Brown stays in Tenn. expect him to be playin his ### off to try and land that big deal since he is an UFA after this season. He corrected his upright running style which was the heart of his injury problems, but that doesn't take away from him constantly being hampered by injuries.

That's where I have him now and I don't see Brown being traded.

I've been saying for weeks that I expect White to lead all rookies in rushing yards and rushing TDs. He's in a great situation and he has the talent to be effective. The only real question is what percentage of the carries Brown will vulture. My guess is that White will ultimately win the first and second down role, allowing him to rush for 800-1,300 yards with a chance at double digit TDs.

Paging LHUCKS.....How is Brown as a receiver? I'm not sure he can be the Reggie Bush type.
