Titans RBs not named Johnson (1 Viewer)

Former:

Chris Brown and Quinton Ganther starting this week.

Brown's stats last week were yuck.

Either of these two good for a flex start? What do you think?

Chris Henry(RB) was signed off the practice squad for the Texans. That bust was extremely surprising in camp+preseason because he looked so good and has played poorly since the day he was drafted. Obviously Fisher wasn't buying it but....

Current:

Lendale looked real good in preseason, even came in shape with a good playing weight.

He's barely gotten in this year and always having to play "cold" he hasn't done well. He was even inactive one week.

I highly doubt the Titans re-sign him with Ringer around.

As far as I can tell, all four of these guys will be free agents shortly. Are any of them worth a shot in dynasty leagues?

Brown is the best of the bunch but he's only a short-term filler. White has some potential as a goal line back of course but none of these guys are going to be reliable.

Ringer has value in dynasty leagues or on deep rosters. CJ is awesome and I hope never gets hurt, but logic says at some point in his career he will get hurt. Ringer is a good RB and would value with a CJ injury.

I feel like LenDale would be a nice fit in Chicago (in a role similar to what he played last year), without delving too deep into the situation.

I agree on Ringer, but he's not asking about him. He's asking about Brown, Henry, Ganther and White. At least I assumed so when he mentioned "all four"

Lendale did pretty well as a starter(despite what some say). I think you're probably right that he gets signed as a GL back but probably is also that insurance in case the starter gets hurt. For Chicago, isn't Kevin Jones there? Been a long time since I've seen him play much but I do think he's a decent backup RB.Lendale could probably keep Slaton and Steven Jackson healthy by taking away some tough runs.I would like to see Lendale get a shot at starting somewhere though it's not likely. Cleveland for example seems fairly likely to be drafting a RB with Jamal retired. James Davis looked good but I don't think good enough that they don't get another RB. Getting Lendale would afford them to fill another hole on that swiss cheese roster. Let Davis and White battle..see what happens.I think Lendale has some decent dynasty value worth getting and waiting on, for now. What do you think now, since it doesn't pay to decide later in dynasty

Didn't mean to be limitting just..not Johnson if ya don't mind

Ganther is filling in and that's likely his fifteen minutes of fame. Much as the TEN fans hated seeing Q go, he is peaking at around average.

 Lendale is only 2 years removed from a 1k season as a starter and is only 25 years old. In dynasty, if he's avaible in your leagues, I'd snag him (I already have him) - if only to see where he ends up. I think he's done as a Titan - but getting picked up by some of the teams mentioned, or even some not (KC, even SD?) he could make an interesting stop-gap for some of those teams. In the right situation he could even end up putting up numbers like Earnest Graham did a couple years back (i.e. he could be a temporary starter or short yardage/GL back for a team with aging vets or smallish starters that don't want them to get to banged up). I don't see him anything than a lower end RB2 to cover bye weeks (and that's at best) - but that's worth something.

I think LenDale could go to a decent team and be the main guy or a strong 1A. There are a lot of teams with good passing attacks that could use his skillset.

I like Ringer but haven't found an owner that'll give him up cheap. With CJ ahead of him, he's gotta be cheap.

....but don't you get the feeling from looking at Johnson's build that he won't hold up but a few years? IMO Ringer shouldn't come cheap. I can see the Titans making him their goal line back as soon as next year after FatDale is cut.

Maybe but I don't want to pay much for a backup RB who has zero chance of becoming the lead back baring injury. Unless he's behind an aging RB like LT, Thomas Jones, Westbrook, etc. Too many teams will draft a RB before their lead back retires. You're taking the chance that the lead back gets injured and that the backup can be a good lead back. That risk should come at a discount. That said, I have Ringer in a league where I don't have CJ and I won't give him up cheap <_<

I don't know. MJD and Marshall Faulk aside, he seems short or small to be just a goalline back. Something off there. How tall is he? If I were Fisher I'd rather Hall get a GL carry then Ringer in that spot
