They really didn't have any short yardage or goalline situations last night, which is where I'd expect them to use him. We'll have to see how this plays out. There's no way in my mind though that they'll simply sit a guy they traded for in his final year before free agency. He's going to have a role.

I heard something (on Rotoworld maybe?) about him having trouble picking up the offense. That plus Portis being able to play would explain his inaction.
