**TNF on Prime - Bengals at Ravens** (-6, 52.5) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

I need a Bye Week, I haven't peeked at anything this week for the NFL, did not participate in waivers this week across most of the my Redraft Leagues
Anyone else ever get like this, FF Fatigue?

Bengals have lost too many games they should have won so I don't take them seriously and think the Ravens should beat them easily
That said, you can never count out Joey Burrow and when you have a healthy Burrow at QB then anything is possible

Ravens secondary is a mess and now the middle of the line is depleted with Brent Urban out(concussion), Michael Pierce on IR (calf) and Travis Jones battling an ankle booboo. This could get ugly for the Ravens if Cincy can take advantage run in the middle along with Burrow skull dragging the d-backs. Ravens offense added a big receiver if D. Johnson and may get the services of Keaton Mitchell again tonight so that side of the ball should be able to produce, the question is can they keep up.

These team played 3 weeks ago and it was 41-38 Ravens in ot...sounds right for this game too.

No horses in this race
Out on a cruise
In Roatan Honduras right now
Connected off and on but pretty much out of touch
Dinner and shows and casino action tonight so probably won't see any of the game
I'll toss out...

Ravens- 33
Bengals- 30
Which cruise line? Did you leave out of Miami or Ft Laud for this vacation?
Good time to book, still Hurricane season and you get better rates typically vs Jan-June

Royal Caribbean
Wonder of the Seas
Out of Port Canaveral
Live in Daytona so an hour to the port
Rate was super good
We stayed ahead of the hurricane
Aside from a very windy day in Cocoa Cay the weather and seas have been perfect

Bengals are significantly different team with Tee. Av per pass att, pts, and WL. he had a major role in game one, and I feel they're going to struggle without him, They're my team, and I hate this spot for them. They'll have to lean on C Brown and Gesecki as a result, but limits their downfield options, Jamar is seeing dbl teams all the time. :frown:

Joe Burrow tonight or
Jared Goff on SNF vs Houston?

We have a guy in my league that has this combo and I wasn't sure what to tell him.
Ravens allow over 27 pts per game to opposing QBs 20-33-36-27-47, those are the Ravens numbers vs opposing QBs last 5 games, last week they were under their usual average
That was rookie Bo Nix on the road in Baltimore so that's a little different than Burrow who should exceed that even without Tee Higgins

The Texans have allowed more than 25 at the QB spot in 4 of the last 7 weeks but far from Swiss cheese. Not a top line defense against opposing QBs either but not as soft as Balt of late
I guess Burrow is the better option tonight but I always hate TNF games for FF

Ravens have been a pass funnel, and Burrow has two 5 TD games. Goff’s volume is way down this year - from 35.6 PA/g to 29.6.

Bengals can't run the ball or stop anybody on D. In order to win, they'll have to score in the mid to high 30s.

This does feel like a bit of a trap game doesn't it? Not so much for the Ravens, but for the projected shootout. Short week, some injuries, especially on the Bengals side. I kinda like the Ravens and the under here.

This feels like a game where the Ravens are EXTREMELY run heavy and look to dominate time of possession.

Ravens have to go ground and pound to protect that D from Burrow.

Ravens, 34-23

Their secondary should be much much better and they’ve been trending in the right direction since they brought in Old Man Dean Pees to help out the kid D Coordinator. Been a lot of long bend but don’t break drives, with 4-man pass rushes that never get home

The offense is unstoppable when they put Ricard in the game but Monken still inexplicably gets away from the heavy game sometimes (especially when they get behind, like in the last 2 games vs KC)

Short week on the road is a tough spot to get a D ready for Lamar. And Higgins being out really hurts the Bengals, I expect the Ravens to double Chase everywhere. Make anyone else beat you because he shreds them

Zay Flowers is NFL’s yardage leader since Week 5. He’s getting so good and he and Lamar have that vibe. Starting to remind me of 80s Redskin Gary Clark (high praise). Have put a few $ on Bateman having a big night, thinking Bengals have to focus on Zay

Harbaugh wasting his challenge on a highly dubious attempt at negating a 4-yard gain on First and Goal

17 years of this and counting

I've missed you around here, maybe I just haven't seen you in the game threads because I'm watching another game.
One of my fav Ravens' fans and I have several I like to read, always enjoy your POV on the team and the box of chocolate donuts you always bring
