TNF on Prime Video - Ravens at Buccaneers (-2, 46.5) (1 Viewer)

There is always one Thursday game where I forget to do something with one of my lineups. Tonight it is leaving in Rachaad White from bye-week hell. Thursday night football is so damn stupid.

WTH, why does Lamar hate Bateman so much? was the pre-season talk all fake, or does Lamar avoid Bateman on purpose?

I traded Dalton for Brady in a league this week I thought I was getting an upgrade sure don't look like it.

Sorta sad that Lamar Jackson didn't know what to do after the completion to the Bucs 43 with about 14-15 seconds left, he let about 5 or 6 seconds just bleed right off the clock.

Spike it Spike it Spike it
WTH
I think he was thinking run it down to 3-4 seconds, so they didn't have to run that throw away play. Didn't wanna risk running a real play and getting a penalty or tackled in bounds.

Was totally ready to break out the "totally redeem yourself" gif for Thursday night football had Tucker kicked a 61-yard field goal.

Son, you spike that GD football at the 43 and you get ready to send one into the end zone with time to spare for a long FG attempt.
He took away a potential scoring opportunity by burning precious time off the clock....why would a team down 7 try not to advance the football beyond the goal line?

The first word was only for dramatic impact

What if that one sent into the endzone gets picked off?

Lamar with 30 first half passing attempts in a 10-3 game

I’ve never been a fire Roman guy but have crossed over at this very moment

guess they figured with all the Bucs DBs out they’d try to exploit where they’re vulnerable…instead of just doing what they do best.

ride the Gus Bus 🚌

Are you going with that answer?
They still would be down 7 going into the Half, the concept that we are AFRAID to throw the ball into the end zone at the end of the first half
Tell me you're just pulling my chain, please

That was HORRIFIC clock management. Dan Marino would have spiked the football with 15 seconds left and run 3 more plays
It's an impossibility these days for teams to be really good at the basics or things that could make a GIGANTIC difference like not burning the clock down in half when you're on your opponents 43 yd line down 7 and scared because you're afraid you might throw an interception in the end zone

I can't wrap my head around it

30 pass attempts in the first half for Lamar.

This after the likes of D. Foreman and C. Hubbard ran for about 200 on TB last week.

And with Bateman and Andrews banged up.

Brilliant game plan.

2nd half game plans:

Ravens - Obviously Lamar isn't having a good night. Ride the Bus early and often to set up play action and QB sweeps.

Bucs - Similar. Get Fat Lenny going and set up play action for Godwin/Evans.
