Tony Gonzalez - Sell high or ride on? (1 Viewer)

With Tony Gonzalez's outburst tonight getting him back in fantasy owner's good graces, is he a good candidate to trade while the memory of this game is fresh, or is he back, and ready to be an every week starter?

I think for the moment, I'm going to chalk up the first 3 weeks to a lack of preseason action, and see if he remains functional. What say you?

What other TE are you going to trade him for? He is as good if not better than anyone in that second tier of TEs.

Before the season I kinda wanted to trade Cook for him, guy said no. After week 1, I didnt want to any more. After week 2 I did, after week 3 I did, and I still do.

I am making a run at a title, and can play up to 3 TEs in a PPR (1.5 PPR for TE).

My team is good enough to strongly compete for at least a couple years, but I cant help but think Gonzo would very much help to get a 1st round bye (which is money right there), and help for a championship.

It seems the kind of numbers cook will give you are attainable one way or another through trade or pickups, while the numbers gonzo can give are not.

Don't trade Gonzo in redraft leagues. Though if you trade him in dynasty for some legitimate young talent, I couldn't blame you. He is in phenomenal shape. Always is... Chalk up the first three weeks to lack of reps in preseason. He is just rounding into form and will be a top five TE going forward.. Hell... this guy could play another five years if he wanted to. A football legend if there ever was one.
