Tony Romo Trivia (1 Viewer)

Raider Nation

Devil's Advocate
No cheating -- you're on the honor system!

Tony Romo has started 12 NFL games -- the final ten games of 2006, and the first two games this year.

Only ONE quarterback in the history of the NFL has thrown for more yards in his first 12 starts than Romo.

Who is it?

Kurt Warner?
That didn't take long. The Warner part wasn't all that surprising (though I would have guessed Marino).

But was anyone aware that Romo was # 2??? I was floored when I heard it.
K, so I spouted off Warner without checking things. I checked and found this?--first 12 career starts--

Romo: 3172

Warner: 2694

Hmmmm, I was listening to Sirius NFL Radio today, and Pat Kirwin gave that stat. He either said it backwards, or I heard it backwards. But at least the two names at 1 & 2 are right.

Warner was at 3219 after his 12th career start. Shocked that Romo got so close. Warner: 250/377, 3219, 32/9; 8.31 adjY/A

Romo: 233/363, 3172, 22/11; 7.98 adjY/A

Really, an incredibly impressive first 12 starts for Romo.
