Too much for Pittman in Dynasty? (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone, I'm in a 10-team contract dynasty league, .PPR, start 2QBs/3RBs/4RBs/TE/FLX

I'm 4-3 and down REALLY bad this week at WR because of injuries and bye weeks. I don't have anyone to drop, especially for the literal scraps on waivers (J Reynolds/Shepard).
I offered Pollard, Meyers and 5th for Pittman but he is insisting for no less than a 3rd. So, as constructed right now it's..

Pollard ($10/2)
Meyers ($1/1)
3rd

for

Pittman ($1/2)
6th

Do you guys think this is too much? Thanks, I appreciate any and all opinions.

I would try to get a better pick back or try to give up a fourth or something instead of a third to see what he says. I'm okay with it as is, though. My opinion of Pollard and Meyers in Dynasty is kinda meh but I like PIttman. I just think he might not actually be expecting to get the third even though he's trying to set it as a definitive line.

I tried to give a 4th and then he gives back a 6th, and I thought he was for it but then a few hours later he came back to not wanting anything less than a 3rd. Seems a bit heavy but I feel like I have to over pay to get a deal done in this league but, even though I've played fantasy for many years, this is my first real dynast league so I was wondering if that was a bit too much.

It depends on how you value guys. Like I said, I value Pittman more in Dynasty (and redraft for that matter) than Pollard or Meyers. Draft picks are important but not wildly so in my opinion. Higher draft picks let you get bigger names but if you make good picks late in drafts it doesn't matter if you have fewer high picks. You can always make more trades if you want to try to get better picks. Most people expect you to overpay so you can always walk away if you decide you don't like the deal. They might come around later on. I personally don't think that deal is an overpay to the point where it's not worth doing but if you think it's too much then don't do it. It's that simple. There isn't a right answer. It's whatever you want to do. I use multiple trade analyzers and sometimes I disagree with what they say but they give me some information to work with. The problem is you have to pay for most of them and I'm not sure how many include draft picks. You'd have to search for that and see if you can find any.
