Top 10 ac/Dc songs. (1 Viewer)

Just about anything Bon Scott did before Brian Johnson IMO.He came close to matching his vocals but never quite did it for me.

Didn't know there was such a lack of love for You Shook Me from AC/DC fans
Way overplayed. "I mean, you hear a song that's a great song; play it a million times, you never want to hear it again..."-- Eddie Vedder
hmmmYou've gotta evaluate a song separate from that though. It's snobbery to not even have that in a Top 10. I'm sick of it too but it is a great rock song.

For me at least, it has nothing to do with airtime. I just do not believe it is one of the top 10 songs. Pretty sure it would not even be in my top 15.

Same here. AC/DC is my favorite band, so the fact that I don't have this song in my personal top 10 doesn't mean that I think it sucks. It's just that AC/DC has a large body of really good work to choose from, and this one doesn't happen to make the cut.

I've got a top 8, there's a big group of songs on the next plateau, so I narrowed it down to these.Who Made Who was the first hard rock album (actually, cassette tape) I owned, so I'm a little partial to a couple of those tracks. It’s a Long Way to the TopJailbreakRide OnDirty DeedsTNTWho Made WhoLet There be RockFor Those About to Rock

Can't disagree with any of these and would add in Whole Lotta Rosie and Walk All Over You in the mix for 10,maybe Sin City and Touch Too Much somewhere as wellWalk All Over You

I agree, I put in my top 10. Post 50.

1. It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)

2. Heatseeker

3. Whole Lotta Rosie

4. Shoot to Thrill

5. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

6. Big Balls

7. For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)

8. Sink the Pink

If I never hear "You Shook Me" again, it'll be too soon.

I'm the only one that likes Heatseeker that much?

Does no one like "you shook me" or is it just so overplayed that it can't be a favorite?
Do not enjoy that song, for some reason. Never did.

Love Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Of all their tracks, it stands out. That and For Those About To Rock and TNT, largely because Phish (not a big fan) covered it at a show I went to, and it was...such a relief from all the noodling they were doing. Loved it.

I know this will be sacriligious to some, but due to the consistency/similarity of the music and vocals of AC/DC, I can't listen to more than 2-3 songs in a row before I get sick of them. I can't imagine going to one of their concerts.

First song - great

Second song - sounds familiar

Third song - argggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh

Same for Jethro Tull.

Hells Bells " cause if goods on the left... "

Thunderstruck

Dirty Deeds

Highway to Hell

TNT

Jailbreak

Back in Black

Girls got rhythm

Touch too much

Its a long way to the top

1. Back In Black

2. Shoot To Thrill

3. Have A Drink On Me

4. Rock n Roll Ain't Noise Pollution

5. For Those About To Rock

6. Hells Bells

7. Long Way To The Top

8. Highway To Hell

9. Honey What Do You Do For Money?

10. Let There Be Rock (Live)

Obviously Back In Black is my hands down favorite album. It is perfect. It is what AC/DC is to me with all due respect to Bon Scott. Back In Black is a monster never to be surpassed by the band after...nor before.
