It's tough. I think Abraham going to a dome team is scary might be the logical favorite but what other move(s) make great sense for this upcoming year?

Wihterspoon should fill a hole the Rams have had since Fletcher left - I'm guessing he makes a big difference, even in pass defense (since the safeties can help out now instead of having to cover for the crap MLB in front of them).

 Next to QB's and shut-down CB's, passing-rushing ends are top-shelf in the NFL.

Thought overall Witherspoon's stats will look better and appear to have more impact, I think Abraham's play will be more significant. Kind of like S. Rice where there are some games that he is soooo dominant that each play he makes changes games completely (IE sack causes fumble/turnover, some even for TD's).

Two dog race, Abraham and Witherspoon.

The idea of Kerney/Coleman/Abe is downright scary.

Add to that probably the best young CB in the game, and Brooking and Atlanta's D has  potential.

Still, Witherspoon could be huge in St. Louis.

I'm going with Abe, but don't blame anyone for voting WW

i'd go with spoon...

i like abraham, as well...

dan pompei of Sn thinks addition of peterson could more than offsetloss of hutchison... not sure i agree, but he could be huge if all the way back from achilles injury... he was turning into perennial pro bowler (though SLBs are rarely IDP gold... marcus washington has been about as good as it gets lately, around top 20)...

Almost went Abraham..... then saw Will Witherspoon on the list!

Then it became an easier choice.

StL wants him there for a while as the peice of the puzzle they were missing!

Based on contract size, here is how the top new IDP acquisitions rank...

J Peterson ~ 7 years for $54mm with $18.5mm guaranteed

Abraham ~ 6 year for $45mm with $19.5mm guaranteed

Witherspoon ~ 6 years for $33mm with $15mm guaranteed

Using only the guaranteed portion of each contract (since players rarely playout their entire contract), the two big fish...as determined by the market...were Abraham and Peterson.

However, from a fantasty perspective, Witherspoon should mop the floor with Peterson.

Fair enough, I don't remember what the top 10-20 salaries are for OLB / DE, if Peterson makes a lot more relative to his position... well, Seattle overpaid anyway.
