Okay, Looking at 2013 we had the following top Offenses (Scoring offense in parentheses)

  1. Denver (1)
  2. Philly (4)
  3. Green Bay (8)
  4. New Orleans (10)
  5. San Diego (12)
  6. Detroit (13)
  7. New England (3)
  8. Chicago (2)
  9. Washington (23)
  10. Cincy (6)
other notables were Dallas with #16 Offense but 5 in scoring, and KC, 21 in offense but 6 in scoring.

Atlanta for all their injuries last year was 14th in yardage and 20 in scoring.

So this year, what do we think?

To me the top 4 should continue to shine, and Maybe the ones that fall are New England (a little) and Washington (new offense). What about Chicago with all cutler all the time? In the middle of the pack last year I think Atlanta, Dallas, and Indy could come back into teh top 10.

The Jets, Carolina, Miami, NYG and Baltimore were the bottom along with Jax and Tampa bay. Will any of these teams show a pulse and get better? Miami has a new OC, the giants and ravens had a down year, so does it continue or not?

where do the rankings come from?

NE should be a powerhouse, with a big caveat of the Gronk's health

Washington : RB3 can't be any worse than last year so they have to better.

Dallas should score a lot as their defense will lead to high scoring games

Jets have gotta to better - at least they have some weapons to work with

how dare you

I would not shock me in the least to see Minnesota make this list. If Cassel can even be half decent this year he has Peterson, Patterson, Jennings, Rudolph, Wright to work with. In 2010 he led a top 12 offense in KC with far less to work with than he has now.

If Bridgewater takes the reins then the floor is a little lower but the ceiling raises immensely.

They ranked 13th in total offense last year and needed only 25 yds/ game to be top ten, I think the coaching staff alone is worth that much.

I'll take Cincy, SD, and maybe Washington as the top candidates to fall out of the top 10.

I think the cowboys D may be so bad, that they become top 10; but Linnehan should help as well. Indy and Minnesota are also good candidates. I want to say ATL, but other than Roddy and Julio don't like their offensive weapons.

I'm a Skins fan, but I think they're a lock for a top 10 offense. Line is a little sketchy but should be improved from last year, and they're all of a sudden stacked at the skill positions. They haven't had this many ways to move the ball in a long, long time.

The Bucs were top 15 in 2012...ended '13 at 30th. Added McCown, Evans, a TE, multiple OLs...Martin is healthy. They're a pretty clear candidate for a significant step up in ranking. Top 10?

SF taking the reins off Kaep and having Crabtree for a full year means they will improve. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bucs jump way up. Despite what Pagano says I think Indy leans on their strengths and passes their way into the top ten.

Philly isn't going to be #2 this year. Foles is the poster-boy for regression to the mean. I wouldn't doubt they'll continue to be near the top but there's no way a healthy Packers team scores less than the Eagles this year. Rodgers out 6 games and Cobb broke his leg after 4 games, yet they nearly matched Philly's offensive output. Philly around 6th-8th makes more sense to me. San Diego also strikes me as overachievers last year; I don't think they'll be in the top 10 this year. I see Detroit and New England bumping up a few spots. Denver will remain solid but I think the Super Bowl showed the beginning of the end for Manning. He just can't make the honey-hole throws any more, and defenses are going to abuse that fact. You can only throw so many check downs and "omahas" - you gotta have the arm to back it up at some point.

Green Bay

Detroit

Denver

New Orleans

New England

Chicago

Philly

SEA 2x, AZ 2x & STL 2x. I don't think this is a very good bet.....

They played those teams last year too.
