Yes!His last 5 games yardage wise: 48, 50, 73, 68. Plus the oline looked like a seive today without Pace.
just for the record, holt was one of top WRs in many leagues just a few weeks ago... with linehan as HC... as has been alluded to, this has a lot more to do with loss of pace than the HCI would have traded him the day the new coach came in.
Pace has only missed 1 game. What happened the previous 3 weeks?just for the record, holt was one of top WRs in many leagues just a few weeks ago... with linehan as HC... as has been alluded to, this has a lot more to do with loss of pace than the HCI would have traded him the day the new coach came in.
He's been sacked 35 times this year including 7 times today (a season high)...only Andrew Walter (40) and Charlie Frye (36) have been sacked more...today he passed Kitna (33 - so far) and Losman (32)...And, yeah, as a Holt owner I'm officially worried...(though fortunate that just as he dried up, C.Johnson came to life)...i too am on worry patrol...bulger had absolutely no time to throw.
I think right now, the Rams are trying too hard to keep Stephen Jackson involved which is taking looks away from Holt. Their schedule the past couple of weeks has not exactly been easy either. The Rams don't play very well off turf. That's another reason the Rams are struggling. That being said, with SF and AZ up the next two weeks, I think you will see an increase in Holt's productivity. Holt will be fine. After great weekly production, Holt has point production about half per week. This began before Pace got injured. Bulger point production also down apparently due to the OL injury. Anything else going on here, Homers?
You may believe the Rams suck. there are other teams that also fit this category. But they each have one or more players that produce from the fantasy standpoint. So, the question seems reasonable to me. A flip answer does not add anything to the board discussion. The Rams suck!!!![]()
Bulger did get the ball into Holts hands several times last weekend, but Holt had a case of butterfingers. He dropped some passes that he usually catches, and he fumbled too. The whole offense seemed out of sync, and played very sloppy. The Rams tried extensivly to get the ball into Holts hands last weekend. I think it comes down to St. Louis's OLine sucking balls. Bulger is getting sacked constantly. This week Holt should find the end zone.
Jackson had 7 carries last game, he's not the problem. I think the OLine is the problem. Always takes 8 games to a year for the new guy to get his stuff in 100%. Holt's a great talent but the air show there is over.just for the record, holt was one of top WRs in many leagues just a few weeks ago... with linehan as HC... as has been alluded to, this has a lot more to do with loss of pace than the HCI would have traded him the day the new coach came in.
Bulger has been very quick to dump off to Jackson in the passing game. The Rams are not trying to spread the field as much as they were earlier in the season. Last week, Holt dropped a few, but in general, Bulger has been terribly inaccurate throwing the long ball.Jackson had 7 carries last game, he's not the problem. I think the OLine is the problem. Well, the OLine hasn't given him as much time as he used to have so that might be the reason of his unability to throw the long ball decently. But I don't think the Rams are trying too hard to get SJax involved. He's a great receiver so of course he will catch some balls.Bulger has been very quick to dump off to Jackson in the passing game.
