Total Yards for the Raiders vs. Steelers (1 Viewer)

If I am reading the stats correctly it shows Walter with 51 yards passing and 81 yards total rushing. That makes 132 total yards. CBS SPORTSLINE is showing Pitts D giving up 98 yarrds. Am I missing something?

Wouldn't negative yards be counted against a runners net yards ... would negative passing yards be counted against a passers net?

Something doesn't seem to add up here. Look at the stats of the raiders game

Exactly. Use NFL.com, go to "scores" and then click "gamebook" under the game of your choice (instead of live game stats, which most people use and confuse with the official gamebook). The game book breaks everything down very well.

Yards lost due to a sack count against net passing yards for the team, not the passer.
