I picked up 4 tracking cookies while coming the board. Didn't have them before, but have them while on the board. They appear to all be advertising type, but why?

I'm none too crazy about this either. Is it part of the rumored sale of the site? There is enough spyware on the internet already. I got major red flags from my virus/spyware programs when I just logged in. If this site, regardless of ownership is going to stoop to selling out (and I don't know if this is the case as of yet) I will go elsewhere. Waiting for management's comments on this one.... silence would be the worst of all possible responses.

Hi biz,I'll ask our Keith Overton about this. We use cookies so readers don't have to login each time. I'll see what's up on any other cookies.I don't know where the "rumors" start of any sale but those are news to me. If someone walks in and offers David and I a zillion dollars, sure we'd listen. But I haven't heard from that guy.Lastly, closing this as we're trying to keep the Shark Pool more on NFL stuff.J
