Trade Aaron Jones to receive Russel Wilson? (1 Viewer)

10 Team Standard w/6 pt Passing TDs

Give up: Aaron Jones

Receive: Russel Wilson

Current starting roster:

QB: Winston/Josh Allen

RB: Fournette, Chris Carson,

WR: Tyreek Hill, Michael Thomas, Cooper Kupp (flex)

TE: Waller/Hunter Henry

Bench:  Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Tevin Coleman, Miles Sanders, Gore

Trying to decide if it's worth it to give up depth to secure a top QB. Aaron Jones is on the bench right now. We start 2RB 2WR 1 Flex so at the moment I have to sit one of my top 3 RBs or one of my top 3 WRs. Hate to give up the depth but my starting roster would be pretty set. I know Allen and Winston will be ok at QB, but this is a 10-team keeper so with draft pick trading you generally need to be really stacked by the end of the season. Happy to help in return! Thanks!

I play in a similar type league that's 2 keepers, trades draft picks, and has similar starting requirements. I'd be fine making this trade for the QB upgrade in a 6 pt pass TD league. Definitely need to be loaded for the playoffs in these type of leagues.  I'd then look to improve my starting RB's and/or add RB depth at the trade deadline moving pick(s) to do so.

That scoring change really doesn't affect the overall relative value of QB's.  The only thing it does do is shift around the order some with lowering running QB's (like Allen) because their rushing TD's don't have a bonus tied to them.  In this case I don't see where that scoring really changes anything in the big picture because Wilson is so far ahead of those two QB's anyway.

I think it's a solid deal to make because the last game has me worried about Jones' usage down the stretch.  Plus you would still have Tevin Coleman and Sanders as depth if you run into injury issues.  I say make the deal.

ETA:  I would then shop your other two QB's and see if you can get an upgrade somewhere else - maybe an additional WR for depth.
