Hey guys! Here's the basic info about my league:
Point System: 1/2 PPR
Size: 10 Team
League Type: Increasing Keeper/Dynasty League (kept 4 this year, keep 5 or 6 next year)
Below is my current roster:
Starters
QB: Aaron Rodgers
RB: David Johnson
RB: Todd Gurley
WR: Demaryius Thomas
WR: Tyreek Hill
TE: Jimmy Graham
Flex: Emmanuel Sanders
Def: Texans
K: Sebastian Janikowski
Bench:
RB's: Ameer Abdullah, Terrance West, Samje Perine
WR's: Randall Cobb, Corey Coleman, Mohamed Sanu, Josh Doctson
I think my biggest issue is not having a great WR1 and I'd like to fix that. Looking at my team, I don't think I need (or should have) Sanders and Thomas and need to diversify my team a bit. I also have the potential issue with Janikowski's contract issues so I might need to lose him. However, Prater is on the waiver wire so I could always pick him up.
One person in our league has offered me my choice of Brandon Marshall, Donte Moncrief, Adam Thielen, or Zay Jones for Sanders. He then came back with the offer of Theilan and Dan Bailey (which would improve my kicker situation but it only helps for this year as I'm not going to be keeping a kicker, realistically). With Prater on the waiver wire, I think I have some good options. So, my question is:
1) Do you like any of those WR's for Sanders? Realistically, if I get rid of Sanders, I really need to be getting a WR1 or a keeper level player in return (maybe I'm wrong about that) to actually improve my WR situation. Maybe going for younger players is the way to go but I'm not sure if its worth losing a relatively solid guy for a shot in the dark.
2) Should I potentially get rid of one of my strong RB's (possibly Gurley) for 2 other solid keepers?
3) Should I hang out to Sebastian Janikowski or drop him for Prater?
4) Is there a specific player I should go after in exchange for Sanders?
Unfortunately, I can read stats but when it gets to some deep thinking about how to balance this season versus a longer term dynasty approach, I get lost in the details a bit. Any recommendations you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you have any additional information to answer this question. Thanks!
