Trade advice.. (1 Viewer)

Posted a similar question earlier, but realized I had made a big mistake in my post.  Here is what I was offered...

I get:  Tyreek Hill

I give:  Kaepernick, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks for 2018

Lineup: QB, RB, WR, RB/WR, RB/WR, TE, K, Def

Roster:

QB: Luck, Kaepernick

RB: Elliot, M. Jones, Montgomery, Chris Thompson, Dwayne Washington, Darius Jackson

WR: Mar Jones, G. Tate, J. Doctson, Ginn, Coates, T. Austin, Beasley

TE: Graham, M. Bennett, Derby

K:  Prater

D: Denver

Appreciate any advice given.  I am not a master trade negotiator and this forum really helped me out last year.

Personally i am not as high on Hill as some other people on here and the advice you get will likely depend on how much value everyone has on him.  I don't think Kaep adds anything so for me this comes down to Hill vs 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders.

I don't think Hill puts you over the top in terms of contention and you would be trading away basically your entire draft next year.

I would pass.

I agree with this.  Even with Hill I think your 2018 picks could be early in the round, in which case I don't think it will be a good trade for you.

Don't do it, you aren't 1 tyreek hill away from the playoffs, your draft picks are going to be worth a LOT next year.

I would do the deal if I thought Hill would put you in serious title contention.

But I think your team has too many holes to contend even with Hill in the fold....so I would just stay put.

I'd pass at this time. My advice is to build through the draft and acquire more picks or young prospects. Hill is a nice player but not at that cost.

Not to offend, but this is a pretty mediocre roster. You have a couple of nice pieces in Elliot and Luck but the rest is middle of the road. Not that they're bad players just not great. You should be moving one if not both of your TE's if you can. They are both aging and could bring a decent player and/or pick. I'd try and capitalize on the Bennett in Green Bay hype and see if you can't get a young prospect and a pick. Also, you don't have to rush into anything either. The season is a long way off so be patient and make good solid deals. Do some research on previous trades in your league to gauge values.
