Trade Approval/Waiting Period (1 Viewer)

How do y'all handle trade approval/waiting periods right before games? I play in an ESPN league, and our settings had it to where all trades went through a 48 hour waiting period to become valid (so folks could veto it). I made a trade on Friday, but it wouldn't process until the middle of the 1st set of games on Sunday. How do y'all usually handle that? Do you just let all of the rosters unlock right before the games, and let the trade process then, or do you basically make folks have all trades in by Friday at noon?

This league has maybe 1 trade a year, if that. So this is something that has never come up before.

IMO, if you have rules that call for 48 hour waiting period, and that falls after the first game SUN, the trade is processed for the following week of games. Your league rules cover the question... no need to look further. Making exceptions "just for this case" is a bad idea for the league.
