Trade away the #2 pick? (1 Viewer)

So the owner of the first pick of the draft offered me his 2nd and 3rd round picks for my 1.2 pick. Would you take it? Draft value calculators claim that the trade is heavily in my favor (to the tune of 8%)... but for any owner to agree to trading out of the first round I think the trade is going to have to be in their favor. I like that I'd have 4 early picks in a row; 2.11, 2.12, 3.1, 3.2... BUT I estimate the top four QBs will be gone by then, the top 5 WRs will be gone by then, and obviously the top 10 RBs will be gone by then. :blackdot:

League info:

12-team, 6 points for ALL tds, 1 point per reception

1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1K, IDPs

I would do that trade, but I almost always look to trade down in drafts.

eta. if this was a dynasty, i would be all over it.

I see you're new here so welcome to the forum!

For future reference, in case you didn't notice the post on top of this Shark Pool, "Threads that are asking for advice on how you should draft or manage your team belong in The Assistant Coach forum."

To answer your question, in a start two RB league, I'd wouldn't have a problem trading down in the first round, but I'd be very reluctant to not have a pick until 21 players are off the board so I think I'd pass.
