Trade Deadline Rumors (1 Viewer)

Then there is the flipside. OVervaluing your current player you want to trade.

The Trenton Times reports the Detroit Lions offered WR Roy Williams to the Dallas Cowboys for two No. 1 draft picks, and were turned down. :goodposting: REALLY?

The nerve of Dallas, who do they thin they are? The Lions are so clueless.
When you consider that those picks are likely to be in the 30-32 range, it's not that farfetched.

If Tony G can be had for a 3rd and the Vikings don't do it, I would be speechless.
:goodposting:
why wouldn't the NYG give the 2nd they got from NO for Shockey for Tony G
Rumor is that KC is looking for at least a 3rd, so a 2nd is probably too much.TG's reputation has been that he is a hard worker and a team player. He still has to be conosidered a top 10 TE and should have a few years left. And while injuries can never be predicted, he has been fairly injury free.Given that, I would think that the Giants have the opportunity to trade a thrid for him since they already picked up a 2nd for Shockey.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bucs were involved in a deal today. We need a FB pretty bad, and Bruce Allen is no stranger to making deals around the deadline. They have done business with KC a few times in the past, so a Tony G trade could be possible. We also need a WR, but then again everyone says Gruden's O is hard to pick up. :goodposting:

I personally think an NFC East team is going to make a big move.

My thought is that the Vikings may be the team to get TG. It gets Childress another offensive weapon (not sure what he will do with it) and brings a little excitement to the fan base. Heck, if Minny does not improve, it may not be that front office or head coach that misses out on the 3rd rounder next year anyway.

Minny is a contender (or at least better then KC is right now, and Allen is trying to pump TG into it).

Dallas must be looking for a QB....
I can't see Dallas trading for a QB, when they can pick up a guy like Culpepper.
why would they pick him up? hes garbage. Id rather have johnson.
I never claimed CPep was better than Johnson. I was just stating that they won't be trading for one when there are guys out there on the wire.
I would love to see M. Bush or Fargas go to Cincinnati. Chris Perry is not the future and he isn't really the present. They need a back desperately and either of those guys would be an upgrade. I could also see IND or DET or HOU being interested in these guys.Any of these deals would help fantasy owners of McFadden, Bush, and Fargas, because three backs is too many for RBBC.
It would be a total waste if Cincy spent a pick on Fargas or Bush. RB is not their problem.
Housh for Fargas? :)

No way. Graham makes a nice FB. (Dunn owner) :D

 He's easily a top-three TE. If he played in an NFL-caliber offense, I have no doubt that he will be in the discussion for the best TE.Maybe folks will pay more attention if he's on the Giants but he is a hell of a blocker, and everything else goes without saying. Jason Witten is not as good as Tony Gonzalez. Simply Romo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chiefs' turd QB.

As a Gonzo owner and a fan of him, I really hope he gets dealt to a team with a real QB. NYG would be ideal.

Too bad Denver and KC play in the same division. Would love to see LJ in Denver.
You'll see a younger faster version once Torain hits the field. At least I hope so since I have him in a dynasty and a keeper league!
I think in the right situation, LJ could be a monster again.Torain is getting a lot of hype. No doubt about it. But if he is THAT good, why wasn't he drafted earlier?
I believe he had an injury his senior year at ASU.
If he had been drafted by any other team no one would mention Torain, but he has been drafted by the Broncos so some people think he will be a stud ( Like every other Broncos RB ) i dont believe in Torain at all .

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Dallas Cowboys have offered what is believed to be at least a first-round draft choice to the Detroit Lions for WR Roy Williams.

Please let this happen.
The Cowboys season is going down in flames. Why waste a 1st round pick on a guy whose contract is up next year. Jones is just going to throw money at another malcontent. I don't even think the Cowboys are the second best team in their division.

As a Roy Williams fantasy football owner, I want this to happen.

There is a 0% chance they would give up a 1st for him without them getting a contract in place.
NFL teams are not allowed to negotiate such a deal.
