Trade deadline Tomorrow (1 Viewer)

that might actually happen? players to target?
Yes. I think NYG may be showcasing Droughns in the 2nd half tonight to deal him tomorrow. Also, I read today that the Vikes have lowered their asking price for Mewelde Moore to a 4th, and that the Jags are asking a 3rd for Toefield.

Heard the same rumor in Mn today ... Oddly enough, I heard the Texans as one of the teams who inquired.Previously rumored were Tampa and Cleveland.

JETS WILLING TO ENTERTAIN OFFERS FOR CHAD

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that the New York Jets are willing to entertain trade offers for quarterback Chad Pennington.

The trade deadline is 4:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.

Pennington has performed poorly this year after having a solid season in 2006. So poorly that it's unlikely that someone will make a move.

Then again, with guys like Tim Rattay and Vinny Testaverde and Tim Hasselbeck getting work, shouldn't someone make a play for Pennington?

:goodposting:

Sort of a fat contract for a washed up QB? i don't know the specifics, but i think he signed a fat deal recently

Most catchable ball in the NFL...Steve smith just needs a 5 yard pass to break it for 60...with that said the Minny WRs would be licking their chops. Could you imagine Troy W. with a QB that had the power to make the ball magically stick to his hands?
