Thoughts. I have Kyler and then could grab Caleb as insurance. PPR 12 team 1 QB league.

I would have agreed with the consensus (Dobbins), but given the 1/1 start requirements it becomes a total points question.

In theory Moore improves your weekly score 1.5 pts per week unless you can manage the Burrow/Murray WDIS each week to the better by 1.5 points. How are you skills in picking QBs each week? FBG has Burrow 1.3 points better this week which cuts down the differential above. Also Burrow plays on Monday Nite right @Gally

Sure but RB is also a much harder position to find replacements for so give a bit of a bump to that position. Then you really do need to check the MNF schedule to see who plays on Monday more often. That always increases the starting potential.

The article on FBG re: Dobbins this week wasn’t great. I guess I’m trying to sell before the wheels fall off. It’s great he’s getting limited touches as the history with his injury nobody has really came back from but he had two long touchdown runs. Could he sustain this all year? DJ Moore had a poor game and still had 11.3 points and is like to think they’ll get better as Caleb learns.

The Chargers do run the ball a lot.

I think I agree. We are in the minority. I’ve asked around all day. For sake of argument let’s say Moore vs. Dobbins is 50/50. I’m still giving up a free Burrow even though I have a 1B to him.

I however think Dobbins could trend downward more than upward. I think his touches remain relatively the same and yes it might keep him healthy but he won’t break a 40+ yarder (we get long play bonuses) every week. Where as I think Moore will get the season with Caleb to build chemistry.

I've looked at this several ways.

If you can pick right between Burrow and Murray well enough to gain 1.5 more points a week than Murray as a stand alone then you shouldn't make the trade. If you're not confident in that, make the trade.
