I’ve been offered the trade below; which is a bit too much, but let me know he’s got some interest in trading Gurley. I’d like to get Gurley, but looking for some help in completing the counter.

Current Offer to me

Give: Howard, Cooper, Coleman & 1.02

Get: Gurley

Thinking of countering with Howard or Cooper and 1.02 for Gurley

My Roster:

Carr, Goff

Hunt, Howard, Collins, Booker, Yeldon

Cooper, Landry, Cooks, JuJu, Parker, Agholor, C. Coleman, Dede, White, Treadwell, T. Taylor

You are both off.

To be fair the offer should be pick 2 of the 3 out of Howard, 1.02, and Cooper. Then something Parker, Agholor, or Collins. If he insists on all 3 then he should give you something back like those guys are a 2019 1st. Corey Coleman has very little value. I do like him as a cheap flier though, but he is nothing more than a throw in right now.

I dunno about that.  Gurley is likely the equivalent of 3 1sts.  So the 1.02, Howard (who probably = a 1st) and Cooper (another 1st) isn't too far off.  Adding Coleman doesn't change much, although perhaps the recent Josh Gordon news makes Coleman a decent prospect.  He has Landry though.... so...

Yeah, but three 1sts are three unknowns. The 1.02 is really the only unknown. I look at it this way. If this was a start up draft would I trade away 2 mid to late 2nds and a 3rd to get 1.01 or 1.02. I don't think I would.

Thanks for the feedback.

Maybe I’m just higher on all three of the top 3 i’d Be giving up. I think both Howard and Guice are top 10 backs in this format. Plus, believe Cooper bounces back this year and ends in the top12 WR.

I ran the numbers using a couple predicted stats sites and completing the trade as is gives me a +4 point per game difference, but it’s also all t of depth to give up.

I’ll have to think about it a little longer

I think he'll throw your counter offer right back in your face. You are going to have to give up at least 2 players and the pick for Gurley. Personally I'd be content just keeping the pick and leaving Gurley alone.

I think that’s where I’m at.

I reached out to him to see if he’d drop one of the three and his budge was replacing Howard with Collins.

Thanks all.
