Trade: Freeman for Crabtree (1 Viewer)

I'm pretty strong at WR, but could use an upgrade at RB.

Looking to trade Crabtree for D Freeman in a .5 PPR league. Owner seems desperate for WR and loves Crabtree. Is it worth going after Freeman?

RBs I have are: Bell, Gordon, Hyde, LMurray

WRs: AJGreen, ARobinson, AJeffrey, Crabtree, JMatthews, Snead

8 team league so most teams are stacked. I might just stay put and get someone from waivers (Crowell, Howard, Ware, TColeman). If I do trade, I may just pick up Coleman as insurance.

TIA

Looks like you don't really need Crabtree either haha. I'd do it. Think you're buying Freeman low and selling Crabtree high.

I would hang onto Crabtree and just go pick up Crowell.  Freeman is going to score points, and Atlanta's offense looks potent.  But they're going to use him and Coleman interchangeably, and at times will ride the hot hand if one is having a good game.  Knowing which games are Freeman games and which are Coleman games is going to drive you bonkers.

Your RBs are solid though.  Bell is a top 3 back, and Gordon has the volume to be top 10 if he stays healthy.  Hyde is a solid RB2 as well.  Since it's PPR, I'd drop Murray for Crowell and keep Crab.

Guy I'm trading with must really want Crabtree, just offered Montcrief with Freeman. Not excited about a hurt WR, but makes me wonder what he'd give up. He's got Cooks, wonder trading Crabtree and Snead for Freeman and Cooks?
