Trade help (1 Viewer)

Well...depends...

In an vacuum, knowing no context re your team or league, Meredith has a slight edge, only because we know he is staying in Chicago and is probably a starter. Murray is probably leaving the Raiders (but we hear that every year but this time I think it is true) and will probably land a starters gig that will reward his owners for at least the 2017 season.

However, just from what I have read, Murray does not have enough going for him to be a long term fantasy asset beyond the 2017 season. So, Meredith (who looked great at some times and meh in others last year) is probably the choice here.

So white and Meredith leading the way in Chicago this year? Sounds brutal. If Murray stays in Oakland I think he will easily be the better player. He seemed to solidify his grasp on the starting job as the year went on, and they have the 2nd best oline in football. If I'm buying lotto tickets and Meredith is the price I go for it.

I don't disagree with @squistion on the take on his talent, but whoever is toting the rock in Oakland is a buy right now.

At this point in time, I'm going Cam Meredith. If Murray isn't back in Oakland it's going to be rough on his value. Even if he stays they still could take a RB in the draft. I don't really like Murray though and I think running backs like him can lose value quickly if their situation changes.

Put me in the camp that says this can go either way and is close enough that an argument either way is good based on team need.

It is a fair trade but I would prefer to see where Murray ends up before I would trade for him or trade him away.
