Trade L Murray and Crabtree for Coleman? (1 Viewer)

I've been offered this trade.  I don't love Murray and really don't need Crabtree but just want some advice on whether this is a good deal.  Thanks in advance and I will help with yours.

Here is my team - 10 teams, 1/3 PPR, rest is fairly standard scoring, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST

QB - Stafford, Manning

RB - Bell, McKinnon, L Murray, Ivory, Foster

WR - Brown, A Rob, M Jones, Landry, Fuller, Crabtree, Gordon

TE - Reed, Bennett

crabtree is a solid and steady wr3.  he shouldnt be thrown in to trades as filler.  i wouldnt do it.  crabtree for coleman based on value today should get it done.  i think most coleman owners are happy to hold him as he is one of the best lotto tickets around at RB and still has rb2 flex appeal as it is currently

Thanks for the reply.  I wouldn't normally consider throwing Crabtree in, but he's unlikely to start for me.  I was just thinking that this would upgrade my RBs as they are a weakness as Murray is losing snaps and even if Foster gets healthy he's unlikely to stay that way.  I'll float the Crabtree for Coleman deal back to him and see what happens.

I don't see Coleman as an upgrade over Murray. I know Murray is in a bonafide timeshare right now but he is still their number one back, hasn't had any issues, and is their goal line guy. I know why the worry is there (believe me-I have it too) but I honestly don't think Coleman is going to be this good all season. The Falcons have been in 3 shootouts against 3 teams with terrible defenses (TB, OAK, and NO) but are about to start a run against 4 good to great run defenses in a 5 week stretch (CAR, DEN, SEA, {TB}, GB). If I had Coleman, I would be trying to sell high.

I'm not saying Murray is about to be amazing, but I like his prospects over the next month plus compared to Coleman. Just remember: without those 3 short TDs (which could easily go to Freeman any week) Coleman had 42 yards rushing on 12 carries and 3 catches for 47 yards. That's only 8 points in standard leagues.
