Trade Opinions - Miller for Parker (1 Viewer)

I have been offered to participate in a three team deal.  League is 12 team .5PPR, only 5 bench.  Start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2RB, 1 TE, 1 Flex

I have been offered D. Parker for L. Miller

My Team

QB: Rodgers, Rivers

WR: Evans, Crowder, Sanu, C. Davis

RB: Crowell, L. Miller, T. Cohen, J. White, T. West, Riddick

TE: Fleener

I am leaning slightly towards taking the deal as my WR2 is not a great situation (previously was A. Robinson) and I certainly have plenty of RBs, even if no studs.  My only hesitation is Miller's potential and the potential for West to go off a cliff.  That said I think the floor for White and Cohen in .5 PPR can see me through Millers departure and it would be worth the WR upgrade.

What are your thoughts?

Leave your link and I will respond as well.

white and cohen over the course of a season are only going to get you low end RB2 production at best. i'm a huge fan of parker, but i think you should be able to get more for a 15-20 touch RB like miller

With such a small bench I would think you could upgrade via waivers without dropping Miller. You probably wont get a stud but if Higgins is available take a flyer on him. If he doesn't work out move on to Fuller next week. I'd probably lean towards dropping West with his injury and with Collins possibly being better.

You're right to have reservations.

I'd keep Miller and work the waiver wire to shore up your receivers. Stream if necessary.

If you think you're running backs have enough value to trade away wait a few weeks that value will increase

But that's all Miller was worth last year and it's not like his role is increasing. D'Onta is clearly the better runner and I see a 50-50 split in the not too distant future.

I'm actually kinda surprised at all the Miller love in this thread. I think Cohen is every bit Miller's equal in RB2 production (even in 1/2pt PPR) and Parker is quite the upgrade at WR for him. Miller is currently what? RB4 (in current points) on that roster? I don't see it getting all that much better for him. Even if Crowell doesn't get things turned around, White, Cohen, and West are all serviceable and even if Miller gets better he's not going to provide enough of a boost over those three to matter in the long run. I'd do this trade.
