Trade Opinions - Too expensive? (1 Viewer)

I could use WR help as I drafted A. Robinson as WR2.

I have been offered Dez and Ajayi  for L. Miller and T. Cohen.  The other owner lost both Cook and Carson this week

League is 12 team .5PPR, only 5 bench.  Start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2RB, 1 TE, 1 Flex

My Team

QB: Rodgers, Rivers, Dalton (picked up to block an opponent and actually won me the week, will be dropped soon)

WR: Evans, Sanu, Marquis Lee

RB: Crowell, L. Miller, T. Cohen, J. White, Riddick, Powell

TE: Fleener (will be dropped hopefully for Henry, how sad is that)

I obviously love the Dez upgrade, he has played well and his schedule is about to get easier.  Owning Cohen and Miller has been maddening because of how bad their offenses are and the reluctance of their coaches to us them to their full ability.  I am inclined to take the deal, but the offense in Miami is hat is holding me back, also, Powell was a great waiver pickup, but could drop back to obscurity when Forte returns.

What are your thoughts, leave your link and I will answer as well.

Thanks.

I think Miller and Ajayi is basically a wash, so I like the Dez upgrade for Cohen.  I'd do this, you've got the RB depth make it happen and it should be a big boost to your WRs.

I think it's a no brainer - Ajayi's upside is higher than Miller who is sharing touches with Foreman and may ultimately lose the primary back role.

I guess I will be the dissenting opinion this time.  I think Miller is in a much better position than Ajayi.  With Watson starting to get comfortable that should open the offense up a bit for Miller and I think he will improve.  I am not a fan of Ajayi especially with the crap show that the Miami offense is currently.  I also don't like the knee issues that are starting to crop up for him.

I like the move to get Dez but I wonder if you can do that without giving up Miller.  Take out Ajayi and Miller and see what has to be added to Cohen to get Dez.  That is what I would try and do.

Take the deal before he changes his mind. Miller did well in a blowout win last week, but he is beginning to fall out of favor in Houston and the team likes D'Onta Foreman. I wouldn't expect the Houston offense to be flying this high the rest of the year. They played 2 very bad passing defenses the past 2 weeks (Patriots and Titans). There is concern about Ajayi's health, and that offense isn't clicking right now. It's possible he rebounds, but at worst I think they're a wash. Dez over Cohen is a clearcut upgrade.

I agree here. I would be going for Dez mostly. His schedule has gone through the rough part and now he should be having improved performances.

Help with mine??  https://forums.footballguys.com/forum/topic/761198-ryan-or-luck/
