Trade Pickens for Amon-Ra? (1 Viewer)

I'd trade Pickens for Sun God in a heartbeat. I'm a Steelers fan and I think Pickens is the truth, but I also think on an organizational level the team is committed to trying to be a run first team that wins by limiting turnovers and playing good defense. I think Brown is going to be #1 in his team's passing game and at least as far as this year goes Pickens is taking a back seat to Johnson. If you're playing to win next year I could see Pickens, but even that's no guarantee
I think ARSB is a better NFL player than fantasy player. He hit the perfect storm at the end of last year and I think it has inflated his expectations. Detroit has weapons now and even though I think ARSB will be used I don't think it will rise to the volume he saw last year. Especially when Williams gets on the field. They also have Hock & Swift back which will take away those dump offs that ARSB lived off down the stretch.
Don't get me wrong, I think he is still a startable FF asset.......I just don't think he is WR1/2. More as a solid WR3/Flex type play.
As for PIckens, he has the potential to be a stud but I am not sure if that will ever be met. I guess it boils down to if you need a high floor or a high ceiling.
