Is trading Crowell and my TE Brate for J Reed and eagle def. a good trade. I have bangles def and J Thomas also.

If you can get the Go Gos for the Bangles straight up, I'd do it.  But I'd try to get Bananarama thrown in also.

Reed and Thomas have been my TEs in my dynasty league for three seasons.  Most dynamic amd frustrating combo in history.
