This owner has been hot after Berkman for two weeks now, but won't give up two of Willis/AJBurnett/R.Hill along with Delgado. I'm assuming he likes Berkman's keeper value over Delgado and his pitching staff is pretty deep (he also Santana and Maine).
So instead of going after two arms, I brought Wood into the deal (along with Polanco who would platoon with F.Lopez). He seems to be going along with this. My minor league keepers next year will be Braun and Maybin, although if I got Wood I'd either keep all three and only 7 major leaguers or let Maybin go and try to redraft him.
Projecting my major league keepers as of right now: Ortiz, Berkman, Tejada, Rios, Francouer, Granderson, F.Hernandez, and either Smoltz or Snell. I'd keep Willis in Berkman's spot, and then have to decide on Maybin/Smoltz/Snell.
This is a no brainer for me to pull if it gets put on the table, correct?
